top 5 blog posts of 2021
We’re all looking forward to a puppy/dog/kitten/cat/rabbit-filled love fest in 2022. We can’t predict the future, but as long as we’ve got pets in our lives, we can count on plenty of good vibes, good times, and good cheer all year long.
Looking back… well, we had some good vibes and good times in 2021, too – including right here on the Banfield blog. Here are five+ favorites to check out again (or for the first time, in case you missed them). Counting down from 5 to 1…
- #5. This vacation will be a love fest. After spending the early part of the year stuck at home (again), things started to change for the better in the summer. Not perfect, by any means, but arguably a little better. So then when fall rolled around, a bunch of lucky Class of 2025 kids went off to college. Good for them… but what about the cuddly four-legged friends they left in the rearview? Hey, that’s what vacations are for.
- #4. Make work fuzzier. Some of us went back to school (see above) in 2021. Others went back to work. In each case, we missed our pets! But with employers taking a more pet-friendly attitude toward the office nowadays (see the Banfield survey), we wanted to offer tips on how to convince your boss that your workplace should be, well, fuzzier.
- #2 (tie) Keeping Koa happy & healthy and Dr. Emmanuel vet spotlight. These go perfectly together. The first story is about Koa – a Boxer dog who’s benefited from preventive petcare at Banfield for 8+ years. The second post puts the spotlight on Dr. Zubin Emmanuel, a pet- and music-loving vet who’s been part of the veterinary team that’s been caring for Koa all these years.
- #1. Celebrating diversity, community, and progress. We’re all here because we LOVE pets, and that shared love brings us closer together. This year, we shared lots of great stories about our community, including the importance of inspiring people from diverse backgrounds to pursue petcare careers. Are you ready for a whole bunch of links? OK, here goes!
