Being a veterinarian is not just a job for Dr. Kennedy; it is her passion. Her special interests include internal medicine, care for senior pets, dog behavior and reproduction. She likes to spend her time off with her family and hiking with her three Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Dr. Lindsay Cowles

    Veterinarian

Dr. Cowles grew up in central Michigan where she knew from a young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. She attended Michigan State University where she received a bachelor's degree in animal science and then her DVM degree. Following graduation, Dr. Cowles moved to southeast CO to practice mixed animal medicine where she treated everything from kittens to calving cows. After a year of 3:00 am emergency calls for cow caesarian sections she decided to make the move to Colorado Springs and practice solely small animal medicine. Dr. Cowles has now been with Banfield for 4 years. Her favorite part of the day is performing surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Todd, and their two dogs, a corgi named Riley and a rottweiler named Juno. More Details >>
