    Dr. Stephanie Kennedy


    Dr. Kennedy was born and raised in Germany. She graduated in 2008 from Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, Germany with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine degree. For the next 2.5 years, she worked at a busy 24 hour small animal clinic near Würzburg, Germany, and in the fall of 2010, she relocated to Colorado. Being a veterinarian is not just a job for Dr. Kennedy; it is her passion. Her special interests include internal medicine, care for senior pets, dog behavior and reproduction. She likes to spend her time off with her family and hiking with her three Rhodesian Ridgebacks.     Dr. Charles Matchett


    Dr. Matchett attended veterinary school at Tufts University in New England and later completed a residency in comparative medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine and Yerkes National Primate Research Center. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine, has published numerous peer-reviewed articles relating to nonhuman primate medicine and surgery, and is coauthor on a CRC Press book on ferret medicine. Dr. Matchett previously served as the attending veterinarian at the Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute in Albuquerque, NM. He has had 17 years of experience working with numerous species. Dr. Matchett, his wife, Christine, and 4 children moved from Santa Fe, NM to Colorado Springs in late 2017 with their 4 dogs, Ginger, Heidi, Flash, and Arya. He enjoys backpacking, camping, fishing, skiing, and spending time with his family, and is happy to be a team member at Banfield's Southgate location. More Details >>

    Dr. Paige Savo


    Dr. Savo graduated from the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2018. She moved to Colorado Springs and started working for Banfield Pet Hospital shortly thereafter. Her specialty and passion lies with exotic animal medicine. She has done extensive work with turtle research and rehabilitation, and has experience in avian and small mammal medicine.     Vanessa has worked with Banfield since 2011 after 12 years as a district manager with Starbucks Coffee Company. Vanessa enjoys skiing, hiking and white water rafting whenever time allows.     Veterinary Technician

    Tanya graduated from Columbus State Community College in 2008 with an associate's degree in applied sciences of veterinary technology. She became licensed in Ohio and certified in Colorado. Tanya is a Colorado native and has been working at Banfield Pet Hospital since 2012. She loves calico cats and has 2 tortoise shell cats named April and Annie.     Carla has been with Banfield since 2015. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2017 and received her CVT license March of that year. She has loves basset hounds especially her own named Blu Angel. She also loves horses and hopes to one day specialize as an equine vet tech.     Veterinary Technician

    Randi was born and raised in Henderson, NV. She graduated in 2017 and obtained her LVT license. Animals have been her passion and family, as she has always had dogs, with her dream to have at least 6 dogs in her forever home. On her days off, Randi enjoys reading, puzzles, long walks with her dogs, and fictional writing. She dreams of chilly days in the Pacific NW to someday call home.
