Yanel is originally from Miami, Florida, and has been with Banfield since 2014. She has a bachelor's degree in business and a minor in HR from Miami Dade College. She has been in the veterinary profession since high school and is passionate about exotics and laboratory diagnostics. She and her husband, Rene, have a little girl named Reylah and another girl on the way . Her furry family includes a Bengal (Mai Tai) and a Bichon Frise (Fifi).
