Dr. Lex Hoffman
Chief of Staff
After finishing his veterinary studies at the University of Pennsylvania in 2003, Dr. Hoffman moved to Arizona and hasn't touched a snow shovel since. He has worked at Banfield since 2009 and enjoys seeing the wide variety of pets that come through the door. When not working, he enjoys outdoor activities and spoiling his beagle.

Dr. Lystra M Lloyd
Veterinarian
Dr. Lloyd was raised and educated in Miami, Florida, Silver Spring, MD and Manhattan, NY. She received a B.S. degree in animal sciences, a M.S. degree in veterinary anatomy & physiology and DVM, all from Tuskegee University. Dr. Lloyd has two beautiful children whom she enjoys thoroughly, along with singing, learning, traveling, exercise, dining, and spending time with the a wide variety of friends and family.

Dr. Matthew Sammons
Veterinarian
After graduating from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Sammons joined the Banfield practice in Tucson in 2016. He enjoys the access to the outdoors that Tucson affords and is getting acclimated to the summer heat. Dr. Sammons enjoys seeing patients of all ages and prides himself on practicing quality medicine and surgery, outstanding preventive medicine, and compassionate interactions.

Dr. Estehela Gonzalez
Veterinarian
Dr. Gonzalez was born and raised in Tucson. She went to school at UofA (Go Cats!) for undergrad and veterinary school at Colorado State - she does not miss the cold! Dr. Gonzalez is surrounded daily by her 3 Boston terriers and rescue pit bull (the Bostons definitely rule the house and the pit has no idea). Her veterinary interests include pathology, both anatomic and clinical. Dr. Gonzalez has been with Banfield for 2 years and is grateful for the experience of being part of a great corporation with great colleagues and nurses.

Dr. Jennifer Morehead
Veterinarian
Dr. Jennifer Morehead received her DVM degree from Washington State University in 1994. After practicing a few years in Connecticut, she went on to get her PhD from Yale University. She moved to Arizona 12 years ago and loves the desert weather. She also loves being able to have chickens, goats, tortoises and dogs, which her husband tolerates and her daughter adores.
