Our team

Dr. Morehead is originally from California and graduated from UCLA with a BA in theatre arts. After graduating from Washington State University with a degree in veterinary medicine in 1994, Dr. Morehead went on to get her PhD from Yale University School of Public Health with studies in microbial pathogenesis.

About Dr. Jennifer Morehead

After finishing his veterinary studies at the University of Pennsylvania in 2003, Dr. Hoffman moved to Arizona and hasn't touched a snow shovel since. He has worked at Banfield since 2009 and enjoys seeing the wide variety of pets that come through the door. When not working, he enjoys outdoor activities and spoiling his beagle.

About Dr. Lex Hoffman

Dr. Lloyd graduated from college in 1987. She received her MS degree in Veterinary Anatomy & Physiology and her DVM from Tuskegee University, Veterinary College. Dr. Lloyd has lived and worked in the Tucson area for 32 years. She has been employed at Banfield Pet Hospital as an Associate Veterinarian since October 2013.

About Dr. Lystra Monique Lloyd

Dr. Matt Sammons, a graduate of Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, enjoys working with his many long term patients providing for the best of care for the best of friends. Focusing on preventive care medicine, general dentistry, and managing internal medicine patients has earned Dr. Sammons a loyal following of devoted clients and beloved pets.

About Dr. Matthew Sammons

Dr. Rios was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. She graduated from Tucson High School in 2005 (Go Badgers) and received her Bachelors in Veterinary Science from the University of Arizona in 2009. Dr. Rios fulfilled her life long dream of attending Colorado State for veterinary school and graduated in 2014.
