Optimum Wellness Plans are year-long preventive veterinary care packages for dogs and cats. They bundle routine preventive petcare, including comprehensive exams, recommended vaccinations, diagnostic testing, and access to Pet Chat^™, into affordable monthly or yearly payments.

There is no upfront enrollment fee for Optimum Wellness Plans. You’re responsible for the total cost of your selected plan, which can be paid monthly or annually depending on what works best for your budget.

Yes. Your Optimum Wellness Plan can be used at any Banfield Pet Hospital location nationwide. You can access your pet’s plan benefits, medical records, and appointments through MyBanfield or the Banfield app.

Optimum Wellness Plans are annual plans that spread the cost of your pet’s preventive care over 12 equal monthly payments. If you cancel before the end of your plan term, you may be responsible for the difference between the retail cost of services already used and the payments made toward the plan.

Optimum Wellness Plans that are paid monthly can be set to automatically renew each year to help keep your pet’s preventive care on track. You can turn off automatic renewal through your MyBanfield account.

Annual payment plans do not automatically renew, so you can choose to enroll again when your plan term ends. Check your plan agreement for specific renewal details.

Yes. Optimum Wellness Plans include unlimited office visits, meaning you will not be charged the exam fee during a visit when a veterinarian sees your pet. However, services, treatments, medications, diagnostic testing, and procedures will still incur a cost unless they're included in your Optimum Wellness Plan.

Optimum Wellness Plans^® help make routine veterinary care more affordable by bundling preventive services into one plan. Members have a minimum average savings of 30% compared with individual service prices when using all services included in their plan.
