Our in-house pharmacy means owners can get their pet prescriptions at their visit. Antibiotics, pain relief, parasite prevention, and other medications recommended during the exam are available immediately, meaning your pet gets the treatment they need without waiting.

Medical grooming

Under veterinary supervision, medical grooming helps pets with severe matting, skin conditions, or anxiety. When necessary, sedation or anesthesia may be necessary to safely remove mats, trim fur, and maintain hygiene.

Microchipping

Dr. Choi was born and raised in San Jose. After receiving her veterinary degree from UC Davis in 2016, she joined Banfield in Sacramento for several years before moving back to the Bay Area. Dr. Choi has special interests in urgent care and internal medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, hiking, and making miniature dollhouses.

Violet graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Carrington College in 2019 and earned her Registered Veterinary Technician license in 2020. She hopes to continue her studies to receive a specialty in small animal nutrition. All plans cover routine preventive veterinary care and offer discounts on most other Banfield products and services that aren’t included in our preventive care packages.

Preventive care packages are designed for pets at different ages and stages. They all include comprehensive exams, routine vaccinations, unlimited office visits, 24/7 Pet Chat™, and more.
