Shelley Farnsworth, DVM

Dr. Farnsworth is originally from Bloomington, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois and received her Bachelor of Science degree in molecular and cellular biology. She received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After graduating, she moved to Denver and began practicing at Banfield. She practiced with the Banfield team in Glendale for 5 years, and then was given the opportunity to help at a low cost veterinary facility. After 2 years, she returned to Banfield and has been practicing here ever since. She enjoys all of the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer, including mountain biking, snowboarding, and trail running. She loves taking her 2 dogs on runs, and cuddling her cats at home. She also has a leopard gecko named Scottie, who has been with her since her early college days.
