Sarah Rios, DVM

Dr. Rios was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. She graduated from Tucson High School in 2005 (Go Badgers) and received her Bachelors in Veterinary Science from the University of Arizona in 2009. Dr. Rios fulfilled her life long dream of attending Colorado State for veterinary school and graduated in 2014. She was happy to move back home and practice in the city she loves. Her first 4 years were spent in shelter medicine at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona and Pima Animal Care Center. Her veterinary interests include surgery, preventive care, diabetes, and outreach. In her spare time Dr. Rios enjoys cooking, camping, hiking and traveling with her husband. She has two fur-babies Maya the blue pitty and Chop Suey the chihuahua (both are shelter rescues).
