Laura Diem, DVM MPH

Dr. Laura Diem is originally from Seminole, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida in 2011 with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and a Master of Public Health. She has had a varied carrier as a veterinarian. She started her career as a small animal general practitioner in San Antonio, TX and subsequently practiced in Kailua, HI. She then served in the US Army’s Veterinary Corps at both Fort Drum, NY as well as Fort Bragg, NC. Upon leaving active duty military service, Dr. Diem worked exclusively with a working dog facility, overseeing the health care of the company working canines as well as contract canines. During the latter part of Dr. Diem's military career and throughout her time as a working dog veterinarian, Dr. Diem also worked as a Banfield locum veterinarian in the Fayetteville area. After some time, she transitioned to working with Banfield full time. Outside of work, Dr. Diem enjoys camping and hiking in the mountains of North Carolina, as well as visiting the coastal regions with her husband and two children.
