    Dr. Anne-Marie Burge

    Veterinarian

Dr. Burge was born and raised in East Tennessee. She graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and began working for Banfield in Sacramento, California that same year. She spent 3 years working outside of the Banfield family in Tennessee but is very happy to be back as of April 2014. She feels very lucky to feel at home on the East and West coasts, but wishes they were a little closer together! Dr. Burge has always had a weakness for wildlife and exotic species, in addition to dogs and cats. She lives in Portland with her husband, Chad, and daughter, Molly, and they have a Yorkshire terrier/poodle mix named Skeeter, a Siamese mix named Gilly, and a black-and-white alley cat named Scabby Cat (no longer scabby, thank goodness). She also has two leopard geckos. Three of her five pets were previous patients but with a new baby, she has promised Chad she wouldn't bring home any more new arrivals (at least not for now). Dr. Robin Sechrest-Lang

    Veterinarian

Dr. Lang grew up in a small country town in Missouri and moved to Oregon as a teenager. Living on a farm and taking in all the stray animals is what sparked her interest in veterinary medicine and has been her dream career since the age of six. While obtaining her bachelor in animal science from Oregon State University, she worked in a feline only practice sparking a strong interest in feline medicine. Dr. Lang attended Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine and served as the president of the student chapter of the American Association of Feline Practitioners. She worked for Banfield for 3 years and then spent the last 2.5 years at a feline specific practice in Portland. More Details >>

    Dr. Rachael Wood

    Veterinarian

Dr. Wood was raised in Northern Idaho and moved to Vancouver, WA in 2012 when she joined Banfield after finishing veterinary school at Washington State University. She obtained her B.S. degree in molecular biology and biochemistry and a B.A. degree in Spanish in 2006 from the University of Idaho. During her undergraduate education, she had the opportunity to study Spanish in the Basque region of Spain for six months, and enjoys the opportunity to use Spanish with clients. She considers herself lucky to have a career that blends her love for animals with her passion for medicine, and enjoys partnering with clients to provide lifelong care for their pets. She has a special interest in preventive medicine and hospice care. When not in the hospital, Dr. Wood enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, Tim, and son, Isaac. They have a Bluetick Coonhound mix named Bentley and a black and tan cat named Mia. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, hiking, skiing and traveling around the world. More Details >>
