    Dr. Steve Carr

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Steve Carr is a 1997 graduate of the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has been with Banfield since June 1997, where he started his career in Salem, Oregon. He moved his family to Spokane, Washington in August 2001. He, his wife, Danelle, and their 5 children enjoy all the outdoor activities that the Inland Northwest has to offer including kayaking, hiking, camping and horseback riding. He and his family have a dog named Larry, 3 horses, a ball python, a leopard gecko, two Sulcata tortoises and a bunch of chickens. More Details >>

    Dr. Mary Maddox


    Dr. Maddox was a senior in college studying biology and chemistry when she received the call to veterinary medicine. One day, a friend’s newborn foal died in her arms and the helpless feeling she experienced made her realize that she needed to know much more. Dr. Maddox graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. Attending to the needs of animals is both her vocation and passion, and it's a great honor to see the wonder that is the human/animal bond in her daily work. More Details >>

    Dr. Cory Bagnell


    Dr. Bagnell received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Carroll College in 2002. He then went on to study at the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2012. Before attending veterinary school, Dr. Bagnell worked as an EMT and also as a veterinary technician for several years in veterinary clinics and medical schools. He has 2 dogs and 2 kids, and enjoys napping whenever they allow. More Details >>

    Dr. Lisa Pearson


    Dr. Pearson, DVM, MS, PHD, Diplomate ACT is a 2008 graduate of the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She became board certified in reproduction by the American College of Theriogenologists in 2012 and also holds advanced degrees in equine reproduction. She started working at Banfield in 2018 and is enjoying the change to small animal medicine. Dr. Pearson lives on a historic dairy farm with her family, horses, and chocolate labs.
