    Dr. Carmen Ames


    Dr. Ames graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University in 2003. After growing up in Kennewick, WA and completing college in Pullman, WA, she relocated to southern Idaho. She was in mixed practice in Caldwell, ID for about 4 years before joining Banfield in 2007 and in the summer of 2014, she happily moved back to her hometown joining the Kennewick Banfield team. Dr. Ames enjoys educating clients on nutrition, dentistry, and preventive care, and continues to strive for best care through thorough examinations and treatment, placing the needs of the pet first. At home, she has cats, dogs, and sheep, and she would love to play an active roll in your pet's health care. More Details >>

    Dr. David Wiens


    Dr. Wiens is a proud 1999 graduate of Washington State University (Go Cougs!). After graduation, he moved to Puyallup, WA and began working for Banfield. In 2003, he opened the Lakewood/South Tacoma hospital and in 2008, chose to open this hospital and bring Banfield’s standard of care to his hometown of Kennewick. Dr. Wiens spends time with his family enjoying outdoor activities and travel, and he has two cats and several longhorn cattle. More Details >>

    Dr. Belinda Baumel


    Dr. Baumel has always had a special connection with animals and wanted to be a veterinarian since she was 5 years old. Her empathy for animals and passion for veterinary medicine has only grown stronger and continues to drive her every day. She enjoys working with dogs and cats, and has a developing interest in treating exotic pets. She also has a special interest in acupuncture and is planning on becoming certified soon. Some of her hobbies include dancing, figure skating, biking, cooking, sewing, and makeup artistry.
