    Dr. Stacie Kite

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Stacie Kite has been a part of the Banfield family since graduating from Virginia Maryland CVM at Virginia Tech in 2007. She resides in Virginia Beach with her husband, Bart, the Chief of Staff at another local Banfield Hospital; her son and daughter; and her four legged family: Parker the English springer spaniel, Charlotte the golden retriever, and Gilbert and Nermal, the two anti-social felines. She embraces all aspects of veterinary medicine, but especially appreciates preventive medicine, dental care and surgery, and stress resilience for veterinary visits. Dr. Kite spends her time outside the hospital with her young children, cheering on her Hokies sports teams, creating new cupcake recipes, and running in local races.     Dr. Martha Dalton

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Martha Dalton was born and raised in Norfolk, VA and received a B.S. degree from Virginia Tech in animal and poultry sciences. She attended veterinary school at Ross University in St. Kitts and graduated in January 2018. She currently lives in Virginia Beach with her cat, Eddie, and she loves cats, Bernese mountain dogs, minions, and country music.     Dr. Mary Romano

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Mary Romano graduated from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, where she obtained her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine degree. She has been with Banfield since graduating in 2012. When not working at the hospital, she enjoys spending time her free time reading, traveling, and playing the occasional video game.     Ashley Dismuke

    Practice Manager

    Ashley graduated with a bachelor's degree in pre-veterinary medicine in 2015 and started working with Banfield two weeks after graduation. She is currently in school to receive her veterinary technician license. It has always been her dream to work with animals and one day possibly becoming a veterinarian. Ashley and her family enjoy going to the park (seeing other owners with their pets at the park makes her son very happy). She loves animals and currently has a hermit crab named Hermie!     Shift Lead

    Mary is currently a student at Old Dominion University majoring in biochemistry, studying pre-vet with ambition to become a veterinarian. She is also currently working on receiving her Veterinary Technician License through Penn Foster online school to further strengthen her technical skills. Mary enjoys riding her horse, Carlotta, on her days off from work as well as spending quality time taking her other pets, Princess (a Maltese), Skyrah (a Bengal/Lynx) and Ruca, on walking trails with her husband.     Veterinary Assistant

    Jackie has been with Banfield for over 3 years after completing a veterinary assistant externship from Animal Behavior College. She is currently in the Penn Foster Program to become a veterinary technician which is what she wants to be long term. Pets have always been part of her life, having volunteered at shelters early on in middle school and always wanting to take care of the 3 Yorkshire terriers her parents had. Jackie has 3 rescue pets of her own including an Italian greyhound, a border collie mix, and a DSH black hat.     Keyana (also known as Key) has been with Banfield for about 5 years, and loves working with animals as well as educating owners about their pet's health. She is currently in school to receive her LVT license, especially because she loves anesthesia. Keyana has two spoiled cats, Lark and Nark, who she adopted a year ago.     Ashley has spent majority of her life in the Hampton Roads area and after serving some time in the Army, realized her true passion was with animals. She’s been a with Banfield for almost a year and plans on becoming a veterinary assistant in the near future, furthering her skills from there.     Stoney is new to Banfield but aspires to be a veterinarian. He loves the animals that he sees, and has 3 of his own including a 13-year-old papillon named Dakota, a year old grey tortoise named Zoey, and a Maltese/Shitzu mix named Chi. Stoney currently lives in Norfolk but is originally from San Antonio, Texas.
