Dr. Samantha Hall
Veterinarian
Dr. Samantha Hall was born and raised in the Charlottesville area, so it was only fitting to return home after completing veterinary school. Dr. Hall graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor's degree in biology and then continued her studies at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine earning a Degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She began working for Banfield immediately after graduation and has been with the Charlottesville team ever since. She shares a house with her older sister and their 8-yr-old St Bernard, Zeus and their 2 cats, Cheddar Bay Biscuit and Tango Mango. In her spare time, Dr. Hall enjoys traveling, movies, country concerts, and hanging out with close friends/family.

Dr. Rachel Baum
Veterinarian
Dr. Rachel Baum was born and raised in Gaithersburg, MD, the youngest of two. From an early age she was interested in animals and proceeded to volunteer at their local veterinary clinic. After about one year, she decided to aim her sights on becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Baum graduated from St. Mary's College of Maryland with a bachelor's degree in biology. She attended the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA where she tracked Mixed Animal Medicine and worked in the Clinical Pathology Laboratory as an after-hours technician. Dr. Baum graduated in May 2013 with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and in December 2013 with a Master of Public Health degree. She began working for Banfield Pet Hospital in January 2014 and has been living in Charlottesville, VA with her partner, their two cats (Kiwi and Porthos), Pitbull mix (Hira) and their chinchilla (Zilla). She enjoys hiking with friends, playing board games, relaxing at home, and traveling to exotic countries.
