    Dr. Beatriz Vega


    Dr. Vega grew up in upstate New York and started her undergraduate studies at Northeastern University in Massachusetts after graduating high school. She then decided to take time off from her studies to raise her 2 children. She obtained her Associate in Science degree with citations in honors in 2008 from Orange County Community College in New York. She then obtained her Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude with citations in honors (2011), and a Master of Science in biotechnology (2012) from Marywood University in Pennsylvania. She then received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 2017. After graduation, she moved to Salt Lake City area to join the Banfield family in the summer of 2017. Her professional interests include pathology, exotics, and animal behavior.     Dr. Emily Kirkpatrick


    Dr. Kirkpatrick is a Colorado native and attended Colorado State University for both her undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences and veterinary school. After graduating in 2016, she and her husband and high school sweetheart, Alex, followed the snow to Utah. She enjoys the Utah mountains with her two cats, rabbit, guinea pig and fish.     Dr. Meredith Owen


    Dr. Owen is a 2011 graduate of Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, put particularly surgery, dentistry, and pain management. She has recently moved to the SLC area and is enjoying being back in the Intermountain West after several years in the Pacific Northwest.
