Her husband is an Equine Veterinarian in Weatherford. They have 2 sons, a daughter, 2 dogs, and a cat. She is passionate about preventive care, especially surgery including spays and neuters.     Dr. Thomas Ecklund is a 1973 graduate of Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. He’s been with Banfield since January 2006 after owning a private practice for 26 years. He is most passionate about preventive care medicine. Dr. Ecklund has been married for 32 years to his beautiful wife, Jeanie, and has two wonderful children, a daughter named Jamie and a son named Chad.     Dr. Melad Whaba graduated from Cairo Egypt University of Veterinary Medicine and received a second degree from the AVA accredited Education Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates in 2003. Dr. Whaba has been with Banfield since 2015. He is passionate about small animal medicine with an emphasis in emergency and soft tissue surgeries.
