Dr. Jiyoung Kwon
Veterinarian
Dr. Kwon earned her veterinary medicine degree from Konkuk University in Seoul, Korea in 2012 and worked in Korea for few years. In 2014, she moved to the United States where she finished her clinical year in Louisiana State University's School of Veterinary Medicine. In March of 2015, Dr. Kwon moved to the Houston area to work with Banfield Pet Hospital. She has three cats with her husband, James. Her interests in veterinary medicine include preventive care and soft tissue surgery. In her free time, Dr. Kwon enjoys traveling abroad as well as the Untied States.

Dr. Emily Cahal
Veterinarian
Dr. Cahal earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2012 before graduating from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Following this, Dr. Cahal moved back to the Houston area to be close to her family and started working with Banfield in July 2016. She currently has no pets of her own, but hopes to start her furry family as soon as she has a backyard for her future dogs to play in. Dr. Cahal's favorite part about her job is getting to meet new people and their pets, and developing a relationship with them so that she can provide the best possible care for both the pet and their family.
