    Dr. Aasha Parikh


    Dr. Parikh received a Bachelor of Science from NC State University and her veterinary degree from Tuskegee University in 2011. Since completing veterinary school, Dr. Parikh has worked at several Banfield locations in Florida and Houston, and takes pleasure in forming a close bond with her clients and their pets. She continues to grow her interest in dermatology and enjoys working with the allergic patient. Dr. Parikh shares her Houston home with her husband and pointer/pit mix, Harley. When she is not in the hospital, she typically spends her days doing outdoor activities (hiking, biking, running) and working on her photography skills. More Details >>

    Dr. Emilie Whitacre


    Dr. Whitacre is a 2016 graduate of Ross University of Veterinary Medicine and joined Banfield in the Spring of 2017. Dr. Whitacre is a New Jersey native who has lived in Houston for two years. A former emergency vet, she enjoys wound care and internal medicine cases, along with preventive care and early recognition of disease processes.     Practice Manager

    Kristen has been working at Banfield since the summer of 2012. She has always loved animals, especially cats, and joined Banfield because she knew she'd be able to work with them every day. Always a pet owner and animal lover, she was extremely excited that her career brought her to work with animals. She loves seeing new pets come in and meeting all different types of pet owners. Kristen has one dog and two cats of her own, a Sharpei mix named Angel, A DLH named Simchach and a DSH named Dots.     Kelsey is a graduate from Texas A&M with a bachelor's degree in biology. She grew up around animals and strived for a career field that allowed her to help in any way she could. Kelsey majored specifically in marine biology but found herself wanting to learn about all animals so she recently started her program with Penn Foster to receive a veterinarian technician license.     From a young age, Adriana knew she was going to work with animals of all kinds. She attended animal behavior college in California and started working for Banfield in 2014. In her free time, she likes to read, listen to music and be outdoors with her dog, Lily. Adriana also has two cats, a snake and a fresh water fish tank.     Patty was born and raised in Houston and graduated from Alief Taylor High School. She became a Certified Veterinary Assistant from PIMA Medical Institute and is planning on continuing with school for her LVT license. She has been working with Banfield since 2015. Patty loves spending time with her fun loving rottweiler mix dog named Shadow, and her parakeet bird, Greenie. She feels that being able to help clients and their pets is extremely rewarding. She's always known that she wanted to work with animals and after working for various grooming salons and doggy daycares, she decided to join the Banfield team.     Brittni has been working at Banfield since spring of 2017. She entered into this career because of the love for her own pets, Iggy and Baby, and how Banfield cared for them as patients and she wanted to do that for others. She attended the Vet Tech Institute of Houston to become a licensed technician and completes her state exam in the spring. Brittni enjoys reading, and spending time with her two dogs and her husband.
