Dr. Sarah Dewhirst
Chief of Staff
Dr. Sarah Dewhirst entered veterinary medicine as a second career. After a first career in retail chain-store purchasing, she decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. She graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M Veterinary School in 2009. Since then, she has worked in the Houston area in both private day practice and in emergency medicine. Dr. Dewhirst enjoys Banfield's proactive, preventive care approach to medicine, and she has a special passion for veterinary dentistry, oral surgery and likes treating challenging dental cases. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her wife and six year old son. She also shares a home with cats, Zen and Lola, and puppy, Blaze.

Dr. Leslie Brennan
Veterinarian
Dr. Leslie Brennan has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 3 years, and has been with Banfield for almost 2 years. She completed her undergraduate studies in animal sciences at Louisiana State University in 2007 and graduated from St. George's School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Dr. Brennan has a passion for dermatology as well as radiology. In her time outside of the hospital, Dr. Brennan enjoys spending time in the company of her 2 dogs, Kingston and Lady, her cat, Pyka, and husband, Kevin.

Veterinarian
Dr. Sarath Meduru graduated with a BVSc & AH from ANGR Agricultural University in India. He completed his master’s degree in biology from Marshall University. He finished his veterinary licensing and started practicing veterinary medicine at Banfield in December 2011. Dr. Meduru loves preventive care and OWP.

Anna started at Banfield as a veterinary assistant in 2015 after obtaining her degree in biology from TAMU. She has a strong passion for helping those who can't help themselves, and is working towards developing as a veterinary assistant and hopefully becoming a practice manager in the near future. In her spare time, Anna enjoys spending time with her 3 cats, Pudge, Tunie, and Cali. She also really enjoys fishing and being outdoors.

Sheena started in the veterinary field in 2004 when she began working in a small animal veterinary hospital. Along the years, she has held various positions at Banfield ranging from CSC to practice manager but making a difference at the front desk is where her heart is. Sheena wants to ensure that your visit goes smoothly from start to finish, and she loves getting to know owners and their pets. She has 3 pets, Konah (a pit bull), Boogie (a rat terrier), and Wednesday (a cat). When not in the hospital, Sheena loves spending time with her husband and pets.
