Dr. Sarah Kuhlo
Chief Of Staff
Originally from Pensacola, FL, Dr. Kuhlo started her journey towards veterinary medicine with a certificate program in ultrasound. She finished her undergraduate education at the University of Tennessee while working as a human ultrasonographer. After graduating from the University of Tennessee veterinary program in 2011, she completed an internship at Tennessee Equine Hospital. After moving several times, they finally settled in Castalian Springs, TN with a small farm where she has 4 horses, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. She has been with Banfield since 2016 and in August, she became the chief of staff at Madison and is excited to lead this team in continued quality preventive and medical care for pets. Her interests in veterinary medicine include ultrasound, surgery, dentistry, cardiology, and preventive health care. Outside of work, Dr. Kuhlo enjoys photography with her husband, hiking with the dogs, dressage/pleasure riding with her horses, and traveling with her family.

Dr. Christine Mullins
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Mullins is originally from the middle Tennessee area. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture. She attended veterinary school at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and was part of the class of 2010. She has been with Banfield since 2010, but has worked in the veterinary field since 2002 as a client service coordinator and veterinary assistant before graduating with her doctorate. She has been at the Madison Banfield since August 2010 and absolutely loves watching pets grow up and being a part of their lives. Her special interests include feline medicine, ophthalmology, internal medicine, and parasitology. She has been married to her husband, Donny, since 2008 and together they have 2 children and 2 pets.

Dr. Brandon Newton
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Brandon Newton was born in Alabama, but grew up in White House, TN. His passion for veterinary medicine started as young as the 3rd grade, where he dressed up as a veterinarian for career day. He graduated in 3 years from the University of Tennessee, Martin in 2014 with a degree in animal science veterinary science. He attended the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated May 2019. When not working, he loves to spend time with his wife, Amy, and their 2 dogs, Theo (a shihpoo) and Archie (an English bulldog). Dr. Newton's interests are in soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, preventive medicine, and all types of bulldogs.

Dr. Brianna Klutts
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Brianna Klutts is from Newbern, Tennessee. She completed her undergraduate degree at Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science. Afterwards, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she lived and worked for two years as a veterinary assistant at a Banfield hospital. She received her doctorate in 2019 from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where she lived on the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Kitts. She completed her clinical year at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Klutts has a Chihuahua named Prim and a cat named Nala.
