Our Banfield location is located in Alcoa, Tennessee, 15 minutes south of downtown Knoxville in the Hamilton Crossing retail area at the corner of Louisville Rd. and Alcoa Highway (Highway 321). We are located inside PetSmart that is near the Dick's Sporting Goods.

Dr. Miranda Fowler is from Knoxville, TN and graduated in 2012 from The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. After vet school, she completed a competitive internship in small animal medicine and surgery at The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine before joining Banfield in July 2013. Her interests include cardiology, ophthalmology and surgery. She lives in Knoxville with her husband and 4 pets: 2 dogs, Silas and Sydney and 2 cats, Savannah and Sierra.

Dr. Sandi Bates is from Nashville, TN and is a 2008 graduate from The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include preventive care and internal medicine. She has been with Banfield for over six years and thoroughly enjoys client interaction. She has a passion for advocating everyday for what is best for the pets in her care. Dr. Meiers is a native of Knoxville, TN and a 2015 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Her passion for quality medicine and preventive care led her to Banfield, and she has been with the practice for almost 2 years. Her interests include behavior, dermatology, and ophthalmology. When not at work, she enjoys horseback riding, hiking, cycling, and reading. Dr. Meiers shares her home with her husband and their dogs, Cooper and JJ, and cats, Sally, Jasper, and Delilah.
