Dr. Carleigh Melofchik
Veterinarian
Dr. Melofchik joined the Banfield family in July 2019. She graduated from University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School. She is so excited to join the team, and is fulfilling a lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Melofchik has one adorable kitten named Nutmeg at home, and dreams of the many additional animals she plans to add to her family one day.

Dr. Ellen Coyle
Veterinarian
Dr. Coyle graduated from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. After practicing in her home state of Florida for a year, she moved to Pennsylvania with her husband and greyhound, Warrior. At work, Dr. Coyle enjoys soft tissue surgery and preventive care and when away, you can find her hiking, exploring the area or cheering on the Philadelphia sports teams.

Dr. Sasha Lisowski
Veterinarian
Dr. Lisowski joined the Banfield family in July 2020. She graduated from Midwestern University in the beautiful state of Arizona. Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Lisowski headed home and is excited to be a veterinarian in Willow Grove. Dr. Lisowski has 5 hermit crabs at home and loves to travel, bake, and do crafts.

Dr. Mia Lombardo
Veterinarian
Dr. Mia Lombardo joined the Willow Grove Banfield team in November 2018. Prior to that, she worked at the Cherry Hill, NJ location for about 3 years. She graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science and a minor in equine science. After her undergraduate studies, she moved to Scotland to attend veterinary school at the University of Glasgow. She has a bouncy Boston terrier named Tucker, and she loves to bake, travel, and believes coffee should be a food group!

Maureen Christiansen, CVT
Practice Manager
Maureen has been with Banfield since August 2013. She graduated from Manor College in 2015 with an associate's degree in veterinary technology. She is the youngest of 4 sisters, and has 9 nieces and nephews! When not at work, she likes to snuggle with her pit bull/shepherd mix, Ace, also known as Eeyore. In addition, Maureen now has a young energetic pit mix named Captain. He is very good at occupying her time when she is not at work or with family.

Marisa has been part of the Banfield Willow Grove team for 2 years and absolutely loves it! She graduated from Manor College in May 2015 with an associate's degree in veterinary technology. Her favorite part of her job is connecting with clients and their pets! When not at work, Marisa spends time with her 8-year-old son, London, who is the love of her life. She has two wonderful pit bulls, Gertie and Boo, and Marisa loves spending time snuggling on the sofa, watching movies with her family.

Katie joined the Banfield family in May 2016. She graduated from Manor College's veterinarian technician program in December 2017 and became certified in March 2018. At home, Katie has two 8-month-old pit bull mixes that are good at keeping her busy! She also enjoys spending time with her family and going to the shore.

Alexis joined the Banfield team in January 2018. She graduated from Manor College with an associate's degree in veterinarian technology and was on the deans list for three semesters! She currently lives with her four cats; Cali, Leo, Othello and Monkey, all of which are the loves of her life. She has also fostered over twenty five kittens and hopes to foster more soon.

Amy is new to the Banfield family, having joined the team in January 2018. She is looking forward to her career with us and is currently enrolled in Penn Foster's online veterinary technician program, hoping to graduate within the next two years. Amy has two beloved rescue dogs, Cooper and Maggie, two rescue cats, Tigger and Ellie, and two rabbits, Milk and Oreo.

Jessie is a vet assistant who just moved to PA from Ohio. She has worked in the veterinary field for three years and is attending Kent State University. She has one cat named Meow-Meow, her youngest sister named her. Jessie is the oldest of seven kids! In her spare time, you can find her on the phone with her family or exploring new laces that she finds.

Jenna Charry
Veterinary Assistant
Jenna graduated from Shippensburg University with a B.S. degree in biology and a concentration in environmental biology. During her time there, she was the lab assistant and student teacher for parasitology and microbiology. She was with Banfield in Columbia, MD for 1 year before transferring to the Willow Grove location. Prior to Banfield, she was a veterinary assistant at the Philadelphia Zoo for 10 years as an educator and primate behaviorist. Jenna loves getting to know clients and their pets, and believes it's important that clients know we are working as a team for the health and happiness of their pets. She is hoping to apply to vet school and study pathology in the near future. At home, she has 5 cats and 2 rats.

Michelle Smith
Client Service Coordinator
Michelle is happy to be working at Banfield with great people and adorable pets. She is currently owned by her cat, Rudy, but Michelle's fellow associates say that Nova, Michelle's dog, runs the household. Since working at Banfield, Michelle adopted Nova from a rescue and she was not sure what breed Nova really was. Her genetic analysis test revealed she is a lab shepherd mix with a touch of chow. The humans in Michelle's pack include a husband and two children.

Melissa is a recent graduate of Kutztown University with a B.S. degree in biology. Before joining Banfield, she was a Nanny of 4 girls for 7 years and loved spending time with the kids and their animals. She hopes to learn as much as possible from the awesome team members here at Banfield and eventually return to school to pursue an animal science degree. In the meantime, Melissa loves spending time with her special kitty, Iggy, and her forever puppy, Harper. She hopes to see you smile soon.
