Katie Hogue
Shift Lead
Katie moved to Portland shortly after earning her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the College of Idaho. She also has a certificate in basic dog obedience training and behavior. Katie has always loved animal care and behavior, and was very excited to start working at Banfield. She has come to think of this hospital as her second home and has established a familiar relationship with many clients and their lovable pets. Katie is currently attending school part-time to become a Certified Veterinary Technician and is progressing through the program easily due to her experience and support from hospital leaders. She intends to stay with Banfield and continue her career in the ever exciting and changing veterinary medicine field. The best part of her job is seeing pets recover from illnesses, either chronic or acute, and keeping them calm in scary and stressful situations.
