    Open seven days a week to better serve busy families, our pet hospital in Clackamas, OR services the southeastern Portland region with professional, compassionate, and quality pet care services. Our Banfield veterinarians treat each pet they see as if they were a member of their own family.

    You can find this Banfield location on 82nd Street in Clackamas, near Portland. We have late night hours on Saturday and Sunday, as well as pre-work office hours on weekdays.

    Dr. Ildiko Therneau


    Dr. Therneau has been a part of the Banfield team since 2006. She graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 with a focus on small animal medicine. She enjoys internal medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and using preventive medicine to keep pets healthy. She enjoys partnering with families to provide the best care for their unique situations, and educating clients to help them make the best decisions for their pets. When not working, she loves spending time with her husband, two daughters, two dogs, Jackson and Omar, and her two kitties, Kittywhompus and Cricket. Her hobbies include gardening, reading, sharing food with friends, cheering on the Timbers, and exploring the outdoors with friends and family. More Details >>

    Dr. Angela Westdahl


    Dr. Angela Westdahl graduated from Oregon State Veterinary School in 1999 and will soon be celebrating her 16th year as a Banfield doctor. Her life is busy with two wonderful little boys, an amazing husband and two kitties. She loves to travel and looks forward to taking her boys to amazing places.     Dr. Brittany Lauman


    Dr. Brittany Lauman grew up in Milwaukie, Oregon and started working for Banfield in 2004 while she was doing her undergraduate work at Oregon State University. After graduating with her Bachelor of Science degree in animal science with pre-vet and animal behavior options in 2007, she worked as a veterinary technician until going back to school. She is excited to have graduated from the Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 and to return as a veterinarian! She lives in Milwaukie with her husband, Trevor, their two dogs, a boxer named Rogue, and a French bulldog/Boston terrier puppy named Ayla, and a cat named Tiki.     Dr. Jennifer Douglass


    Dr. Jennifer Douglass is originally from the Chicago suburbs and received her B.S. degree from the University of Illinois. She then continued on at U of I to receive her DVM in 2011. After graduation, she practiced at a small animal clinic for 2 years in Walnut Creek, California. She enjoys hiking, camping and running.     Dr. Haleigh Schrote


    Dr. Haleigh Schrote joined the practice in fall 2017. She is originally from Maryland and received her B.S. degree from Berry College in Georgia. She graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 with a focus in small animal medicine.     Dr. Jessica Nelson has been with Banfield since 2012. She graduated from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012, and enjoys surgery and preventive care.     Dr. Kara Gendron


    Dr. Kara Gendron graduated from Colorado State University in 2018 with a focus in small animal medicine and surgery. After graduating, she immediately headed west to the beautiful city of Portland with her two kitties, Sunny and Finn. Her goal is to help keep pets happy and healthy by educating clients on appropriate preventive medicine, and catching diseases early when they are easiest to treat. She believes pets are part of the family and enjoys helping people bond with their pets by better understanding their needs and care. In her free time, Dr. Gendron enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, camping, rock climbing, and kayaking.
