Dr. Schmitt was born and raised in the small town of Waukomis, OK. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and an honors degree at Oklahoma State University in 2007, she attended OSU’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences where she graduated with a doctorate in 2011. Shortly after graduation, she began working at an emergency and critical care hospital in their intensive care unit. Having treated many critical pets and counseled worried clients about diseases and illnesses, Dr. Schmitt wanted to focus on disease prevention and early detection. In April 2013 she started her career at Banfield. Along with emergency medicine and preventive care, Dr. Schmitt has a special interest in tick borne diseases and exotic pet medicine and surgery. From turtles and lizards to rabbits and sugar gliders, all types of pets are welcome in our hospital!

Dr. Candice Page was born and raised in Bartlesville, OK on a cow-calf operation. She grew up taking care of animals both big and small. She attended Oklahoma State University where she received her bachelor's degree in Animal Science in 2009. From there, she attended OSU's Center for Veterinary Health Sciences where she received her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2013. She started her career at Banfield Pet Hospital in July 2013. She has always believed that preventive medicine is the best medicine, and strives to educate all clients on how to prevent multiple diseases that may affect their beloved pets. Dr. Page lives with her husband in Perkins, OK with their dogs, cats and pygmy goats. She loves to be outdoors and can usually be found working in her veggie garden and flower beds. If she is not there, she is usually cheering on her OSU Cowboys. "Go Pokes!"
