    Dr. Kenith Burnett


    Dr. Burnett is originally from Ashland, KY and attended Morehead State University for his undergraduate studies. He attended Auburn Veterinary School in Alabama for his post-graduate studies and has been with Banfield since 2005. In addition to dogs and cats, Dr. Burnett treats reptiles, birds, and small mammals. He is married to his wonderful wife, Marie, and enjoys fishing, golfing, biking, weight lifting, and playing chess in his free time. He is also an avid Aquarist with several fish tanks in his home.     Elissa Mohler

    Practice Manager

    Elissa started working at Banfield in August 2011 as a client service coordinator. 2 weeks into it, she was asked to work in the back and started training as a veterinary assistant. A few years later, Elissa was promoted to shift lead. At one point, she thought she wanted to be a RVT, and even started school but quickly found that was not the job for her. Elissa says that the best part of her job is watching her teammates grow and succeed.     Veterinary Technician

    Martin has been working at the Banfield in Springfield, OH for 9 years. He graduated from Springfield South High School in 2007 and started the vet tech program at Bradford in Columbus, OH the same year. Martin had never seen himself working in a vet clinic as he always wanted to be a marine biologist. But trying to find a short cut through life, he thinks he found his true calling and a happy family/home in which to spend his career.     Haley is from South Charleston, Ohio and attended Wittenberg University for a year with no major. After a year of studies, she decided to pursue her goal of becoming a veterinary technician. She has always loved animals and wanted to dedicate her life to working with them. Haley graduated from Bradford School of Veterinary Technology in Columbus, Ohio in December 2013 and became a registered technician in April 2014. She started working at Banfield Pet Hospital in July 2014. She lives in Urbana, Ohio with her fiancé, their Bernese mountain dog named Melina, a beagle mix named Ellie, a cat named Mya, and an aquatic frog named Rosen.     Veterinary Assistant

    Shelby began her journey into the veterinary field in 2011, and graduated from an AVMA accredited college in 2014. She has worked at Banfield for 7 years. She lives with her brother and his sidekick, Gus, who is a bichon/poodle mix and brings joy and laughter into her every day life. She also has a German shepherd named Elsa (yes, from Frozen), who is very precious to her, and a Guinea pig named Albus. Do you see her obsession with movies yet? Shelby often helps take care of her parents dog, Sophie, as well. Her favorite way to pass time is to relax at home watching movies or reading, but is always up to new adventures!     Client Service Coordinator

    Amanda, or Amy for short, is a mother of 2 beautiful little girls, and a part-time student, going for her associate's degree to become a Registered Veterinarian Technician. Her love for animals started when she was little as she grew up around a large variety animals. At one time, her family was taking care of 30 cats and 4 dogs. Amy has grown up around everything from gerbils to 60 pound German shepherds so she's been around them all. She has 2 cats, Dexter and Pizza Bites (her daughter named her), and a shepherd mix named Sookie. In her free time, Amy loves to spend time with her husband and kids.
