Dr. Sarah Flipse-Ryan
Dr. Ryan earned her bachelor's degree in biology and pre-veterinary sciences from the University of Findlay in 2009, and attended veterinary school at Michigan State University. She has worked at Banfield since 2013. She grew up in the county outside Dayton, Ohio where she enjoyed the companionship of a dog, many outdoor cats, and hamsters throughout her childhood. This is where her love of animals began. Her current pets are Turner, a young golden retriever that she rescued, and a guinea pig, named Buttercup. Her veterinary interests include preventive medicine, dentistry, nutrition/weight management, ophthalmology, and small mammal pocket pets. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on the Atlanta Braves, eating delicious foods, and hiking at Wildwood with her dog of course!

Crystal received her bachelor's degree in education from the University of Toledo in 2002 and attended graduate school at The University of Phoenix for Heath Care Administration. She has worked at Banfield since September of 2015. She grew up in the burbs of Toledo, Ohio where she enjoyed playing sports, 4H, FFA and various other activities. Her current pets are Sierra (Tabby cat), Mouse (Maltese/Chihuahua), Abby (German Short Haired Pointer), and JV (Beta Fish). In her free time, Crystal enjoys spending time playing sports, spending with her family, cheering on the Detroit Tigers, Red Wings, Loins, Pistons and Michigan State Spartan EVERYTHING :), eating delicious food, and traveling.
