Dr. Katie Beach
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Beach graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in pre-veterinary medicine and a minor in chemistry from the University of Findlay in 2008. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 2013 and has since worked at Banfield Pet Hospital in Aurora, OH. Dr. Beach lives in Streetsboro, OH with her 2 rescue cats, Pickles and Olive, and a California king snake named Slithers. She enjoys preventive medicine and forming strong relationships with clients and their pets.

Dr. Andrew Federer
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Federer is pleased to join the team at Banfield Aurora after recently moving back to the Cleveland area from the East Coast. He graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 and for the next several years, he practiced in both New York and Connecticut focusing on emergency medicine and general practice. He grew up in Cleveland and is happy to be back to the area with his wife and two children. When not working, Dr. Federer likes to spend his time playing soccer and dressing up as various superheroes for his kids.

Dr. Holly Hayes
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Holly Hayes is a 1999 graduate of The Ohio State University and was president of the student chapter of the AVMA. She has been a compassionate veterinarian for over 19 years with experience as a private practitioner and as an associate in a high-volume small animal practice. She joined Aurora team in 2018, and is focused on excellent medicine with compassion, and building lasting client relationships through dedication and education. In her spare time, Dr. Hayes enjoys tending to her chickens and spending time with her 2 daughters.

Ashley Dornon
Practice Manager
Ashley was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. She has been with Banfield since 2011 and is currently the practice manager of the Aurora, OH location. She has held many positions with Banfield including client service coordinator, veterinary assistant, and shift lead, and is passionate about building a strong client relationship and getting to know the clients' pets. She has three rescue cats (Phoenix, Jack, Alexa), and a rescue dog (Raiden). Ashley is married to her chef husband, Ryan, and has a 3-year-old daughter named Brooklyn. She enjoys movies, hockey, attending concerts, photography, and spending time with her family.

Tiffany Blankenship, RVT
Veterinary Technician
Tiffany has been a registered veterinary technician for 10 years. She worked for Banfield a few years ago and recently came back after working in emergency medicine. She has also taught at the veterinary technician program at Stautzenberger where she graduated in 2008. Tiffany is a cat lover and has 5 of her own, Oliver, Peanut butter, Jelly, Neuro and Frankenstein. She spends her free time fostering kittens for the Humane Society along with volunteering with the Medina Raptor Center, helping to rehabilitate birds of prey. She also volunteers at Herps Alive Foundation where she gets to take care of all types of reptiles. Tiffany also enjoys singing, dancing and acting in community theater.

Zach Voelker
Shift Lead
Zach has been with Banfield for 6 years and was recently promoted to front end shift lead. He went to school at Tri-C for veterinary technology, and his animal background includes working at doggie day care centers and animal shelters. In his free time, he enjoys sports, hiking, spending time with his family and friends, and volunteers at a cancer camp every summer. Zach is currently a black belt in Kajukenpo karate at a local dojo, where he trains and teaches both children and adults, and he recently moved in to his first apartment with his fiancé, Santanna.

Sydney Edwards
Veterinary Assistant
Sydney attended Tri C, Stautzenberger and Brown Mackie colleges and obtained her Associates of Applied Science degree in 2013. She has been with Banfield for 6 years and is planning on obtaining her RVT license this year. She has always loved animals and is a current volunteer at her local shelter in Parma Heights. She loves being outdoors, photography, traveling and going on adventures. Sydney has 4 cats (Mittens, Socks, Copper, and Nala), a Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix named Skyllar McKenzie, a red eared slider turtle (Felipe), and a guinea pig named Rhonda.

Veterinary Assistant
Sedona graduated from Northcoast Medical Training Academy in 2014 with a degree in veterinary assisting, and she has been with Banfield for 5 years. She has a dog named Hemi and a mini pot-bellied pig named Gumbo. Sedona also cares for the horses at her family farm. In her free time, she enjoys exploring nature, shed hunting, kayaking, traveling, and spending time with her boyfriend. She is currently expecting her first baby in September of 2019.

Alyssa has worked for Banfield for 4 years. She attended Kent State University and majored in photography. Alyssa has 5 rescue cats (Wuv Toots, Yamaha, Rocco, Nippy, Nova), and a goldendoodle named Murphy. In here free time, she enjoys photography, motocross, tanning, traveling, and working out, and she has an obsession with pineapples and tiki life.

She plans on going back to school through Penn Foster to obtain her RVT license in 2020. She has 2 rescue cats, Toby and Zelda, and she enjoys traveling, attending concerts, reading, cosmetology, and various types of art. Nikki recently got engaged to her fiancé, Dan, in 2018 and they are currently planning their wedding for 2020.

Michael found his love of animals from working at a large upscale boarding facility for 3 years. He is currently enrolled at Stautzenberger College and will obtain his associate's degree in veterinary technology in 2019, and plans to take his RVT test shortly after. He has 2 Labrador retrievers (Barron and Bentley), and a snapping turtle named Jimmy T. Michael enjoys traveling the world, attending concerts, spending time with family and friends, and is excited to continue learning about animals and other endangered wildlife.
