Dr. Sara Ryan
Chief of Staff
Dr. Ryan joined the Saratoga Banfield in 2007. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, she practiced small animal and emergency medicine in central NJ prior to returning to her home state. In addition to providing excellent care to all of her patients, Dr. Ryan is a mentor to new veterinarians and technicians joining the Banfield team. While she enjoys all aspects of small animal practice, her passions include soft-tissue surgery, dermatology and ophthalmology. In her spare time, Dr. Ryan enjoys spending time with her family and giving her handsome Labrador, Artie, lots of treats.

Dr. Stacey Oke
Veterinarian
Dr. Oke joined the Banfield family in 2015. A 2002 graduate from the Ontario Veterinary College in Canada, Dr. Oke has practiced in a variety of small animal hospitals throughout southern Ontario before making her permanent home in Saratoga Springs, NY. Her favorite aspects of practices included meeting newly adopted pets, nutrition consultation, and musculoskeletal disorders. Dr. Oke used to enjoy competitive trampoline and horseback riding until multiple injuries reminded her she should quit while she was ahead. She now sticks to sports that do not involve as much gravity, such as tennis and running.

Dr. Christine Anderson
Veterinarian
Dr. Anderson joined Banfield in 2011 and has been working in the small animal field her whole life. She graduated from Ross University in 2009 and finished her studies at the University of Missouri. She lives in Schuylerville with her husband, Ben, who is an equine veterinarian in the area. The Andersons have 3 wild and wonderful children, 2 boys and a princess. They also share their home with several bulldogs, many chickens and 2 cats. Dr. Anderson and family enjoy hiking, camping, fishing and just being out in nature, as well as hunting for cool antiques.

Practice Manager
Thanks to her background in business, Dawn easily transitioned into the role of Practice Manager at Banfield Pet Hospital. Now, with over 10 years in the veterinary field, Dawn still strives to learn new skills, ensuring all of the clients' and patients' needs are being met, and that all staff members have the tools and equipment required to perform their duties successfully. Dawn is a true leader, and spreads her joyful spirit throughout the hospital. Dawn spends almost every spare minute enjoying time with her children and grandchildren.

Veterinary Technician
Nichcole, a licensed veterinary technician, has been with Banfield Pet Hospital for 12 years. Widely known for her affinity for bulldogs, Nichcole truly loves all animals and treats each and every patient as her own. Nichcole received her technical education at Suny Canton and honed her skills at a clinic in upper NY State before joining the Banfield team. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and brushing up on the latest in home décor.

Veterinary Technician
Ronnie, a licensed veterinary technician and long-time Banfield associate, has a near-photographic memory. This means that she can recall important details regarding almost any pet's special needs, thereby providing superior and personalized care without having to review any medical records. Ronnie also loves dermatology, parasitology, and is our go-to girl for anything related to technology within the hospital. Ronnie is also a professional photographer of Thoroughbred horse racing and indie rock bands. her personal time is spent in the company of her Thoroughbred mare, Bella, and Chihuahua, Pedro.

Alyssa enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially surgery. She has 2 ferrets and a cat, and when she is not at Banfield, she can be found kayaking on the local water-ways.

Our resident kitten expert also has extensive experience with reptiles, currently owning Fred, a bearded dragon, and a tortoise named Ethel. In her spare time, Jess enjoys being outdoors and photographing all aspects of nature from the smallest insect to the largest mammal.
