Dr. Barreiro graduated from Cornell University in 2006 with a B.S. degree in animal science. After graduation, she worked as a veterinary assistant and technician, and then attended Kansas State University receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She completed a rotating small animal medical and surgical internship with Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners in Chicago from 2013-2014. The year following her internship, she worked as a full time emergency clinician at East End Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center. Dr. Barreiro joined the Banfield team in 2015, and has a special interest in emergency medicine and surgery. When not at work, she enjoys yoga, the beach, and spending time with her husband and their pack of cats (Simon, Opie, Rocky, Apollo, and Firefly).

Dr. Mueller graduated from the University of Delaware in 2013 with a degree in animal biosciences and pre-veterinary medicine and minors in biochemistry, chemistry and biology. In 2013, she was accepted to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and spent her clinical year at Oregon State University. In January 2017, she accepted a job with Banfield. She is excited to be part of a team that practices quality medicine and has strong ties to the community through patient-client-doctor relationships. Her interests include soft tissue surgery and general wellness. In her spare time, Dr. Mueller is involved in the German-American community participating in a German Folk Dance Group. At home, she has 5 cats named Annie, Morticia, Bacardi, Cairo and Zorro.
