    Dr. Sara Goldstein

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Goldstein has always been passionate about being a veterinarian, high quality veterinary care, and the human-animal bond from even a young age. She graduated and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut in molecular and cellular biology with a minor in chemistry. She then went on to pursue her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to starting with Banfield, she completed a large animal equine internship at Chino Valley Equine Hospital. She enjoys learning about fear free handling, leadership training, and communication, and also stays connected to the veterinary community by being part of the AVMA and local veterinary chapters. In her free time, Dr. Goldstein loves quality time with friends and family, being outdoors, hiking, going to the movies, photography, horseback riding, and volunteering at local shelters.     Dr. Annazette Sloley


    Dr. Sloley was born in Jamaica and completed her bachelor's degree in animal science and marine biology in 2005 at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. She completed her veterinary degree in 2012 at St. Georges University in Grenada which included a clinical year at Cornell University. In addition to working as a veterinary assistant at Banfield, Dr. Sloley has also worked at 2 local animal hospitals: Rutherford Animal Hospital and Hackensack Animal Hospital. More Details >>

    Dr. Tamara Herron


    Dr. Herron is originally from Jersey City, NJ. She completed her bachelor's degree at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in 2008. She received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012. She has a clinical interests in soft tissue surgery. Dr. Herron lives in Jersey City, NJ with her adorably, sweet cat, Garfield, and cherishes the memory of her dog, Speedy, and enjoys working with children, singing, dancing, and reading in her spare time.     Dr. Angelica Otiepka


    Dr. Otiepka completed her bachelor's degree in animal science at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in 2013. She received her veterinary degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2017. Her clinical interests include small animal theriogenology and soft tissue surgery. Over the years, she had a Dalmatian and a cat, multiple hamsters, rabbits, birds, and fish. Dr. Otiepka currently has a long-haired, brown cat named Samarah.     Dr. Meghan Shapiro


    Dr. Shapiro is originally from Princeton NJ, but moved north to Bergen County. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Elon University. After Elon, she moved to Philadelphia, PA where she received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Shapiro loves both surgery and medicine, and even treats some exotics! She and her fiancé have two giant, fluffy rescue mutts, Louis and Ellie. More Details >>

    Dr. Monica Endy


    Dr. Endy is originally from Ringwood, NJ and completed her bachelor’s degree at Pennsylvania State University in 2012. She went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University in St. Kitts and then finished out her clinical year at Tufts University in 2017. Dr. Endy resides back in her home town of Ringwood, NJ with her two dogs, Harley, a bulldog, and Hoss, a pit bull. She has an interest in small animal surgery and anything bulldog!     Kelly Barone

    Practice Manager

    Kelly was born and grew up in central New Jersey. She has always had a love of animals and has worked in multiple areas of pet care including grooming, retail, as well as animal control. She first started as a veterinary assistant in a private hospital years ago and in 2012, she came to Banfield. Her career took off at that point and she climbed the ranks from veterinary assistant, shift lead, and now practice manager. She was very much interested in the managerial aspect of veterinary medicine, taking care of people and their pets, and the ins and outs running a hospital. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys spending time with 4-year-old daughter and family, listening to music, hiking, camping, off roading, fishing, really anything outdoors! She moved back to the area and currently lives with her fiance, cat, and two birds.
