We are tucked in the corner of the plaza just a few doors down from the Harris Teeter. Offering routine exams, preventive care and expertise in pet nutrition, Banfield is the place to go for things pet health related. Our pet drop off options allow us to take care of your pet while you do your grocery shopping or enjoy any of the restaurants and amenities the plaza has to offer. We are conveniently open seven days a week.

Dr. Whitney Walker has worked for Banfield since 2001. She is a 2000 graduate of Purdue University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and received her bachelor's degree in biology from Washington University in St. Louis in 1995. Originally from Illinois, Dr. Walker has lived in the Raleigh area since 2001. She and her husband share their home with three kids, a collie mix named Duncan and a beagle named Pete. There is always at least one foster beagle from Triangle Beagle Rescue, and Dr. Walker is an active board member for the rescue.

Dr. Adriea Laurore has worked for Banfield since 2010. She received an A.S. in veterinary technology and a B.S. in biology from Medaille College in Buffalo, NY in 2009 and 2010, respectively. She started with Banfield as a registered veterinary technician then went to veterinary school at North Carolina State University in 2012. Since graduating from there with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2016, she has worked for Banfield as an associate veterinarian. Originally from Rochester, NY, Dr. Laurore has lived in the Knightdale area since 2010 with her husband, sons, lab/shepherd rescue (Wes) and rescue kitty (Panda). Her favorite aspects of veterinary medicine are preventive care, and helping clients provide the best care for their furry family members!

Dr. Pierce graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and fulfilled her clinical year at Oklahoma State University. She is very happy to be back on the east coast and living in her home state again! Dr. Pierce attended NC State for her undergraduate degrees, during which time she worked for the veterinary college performing research in public health and pathobiology. She has special interests in client education and preventive medicine, and has two cats, Sushi and Rolland. Outside of work, Dr. Pierce enjoys painting, fishing, and being an avid bookworm.
