    Dr. Anna McKain

    Veterinarian

    Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Dr. McKain moved to North Carolina in 2008 to pursue bachelors’ degrees in animal science and poultry science at North Carolina State University. She graduated with honors and as a class valedictorian in 2012, and then continued her education at the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2016. During her education, she worked as a veterinary assistant in a small animal practice outside of Raleigh. Her professional interests include internal medicine, emergency medicine, and preventive health, and she is a member of the AVMA, AAHA, and NCVMA. Dr. McKain shares her home with Aspen, a 3-year-old border collie mix, and Persephone, a 6-year-old short haired cat. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, knitting, and reading. She is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoys traveling, both domestically and internationally. More Details >>

    Dr. Molly Schlichenmayer

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Molly Schlichenmayer, or Dr. Molly as every one calls her, grew up on a farm outside of Burlington, Colorado. She attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where she received her bachelor’s degrees in biochemistry and neuroscience. She went to veterinary school at Colorado State University where she graduated in 2017. In her spare time, Dr. Molly enjoys spending time with her dog, Samson, guinea pigs, Odie and Wedge, and her tortoise, Merlin. Her interests include small animal medicine, wildlife and exotics.     Veterinarian

    Dr. Meghan Cook is a Davidson County native graduating from North Davidson. She graduated from Ross University/Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011.
