    Dr. Barley graduated from Ross University of the West Indies in 2014. She has been with Banfield since November 2014 and at our location since December 2016. Dr. Barley is certified in acupuncture and thoroughly enjoys preventive care. When she isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her pets, boyfriend, Cory, and little boy.     Dr. Rajneesh Pathania

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Pathania joined our team in June of 2019. He grew up in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh with his dog, Taison. It was there that Dr. Pathania developed a love for animals and a desire to solve their health problems. In 2009, he received both his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and then his master’s in veterinary pharmacology and toxicology from the College of Veterinary Sciences, Palampur. Dr. Pathania spent several years researching mammary tumors in lab animals before returning to his first love, small animal medicine. His research findings have not only been published in textbooks, but also in many top-notch Journals! He enjoys providing preventive care each day to your pets and is very passionate about mass/tumor removal and general surgery. In his free time, Dr. Pathania enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. Around the hospital, he is known as “Dr. P” or “Dr. Pat” or sometimes “Master P” (we’re waiting for that one to catch on), but he says you can call him “Raj”! More Details >>

    Katie started at Banfield in April of 2013 when her lifelong love of animals inspired her to begin a career in veterinary medicine. She grew up in Riverside, California and moved to Oxford, North Carolina in 1997. She has 3 dogs (a yorkiepoo named Kaiya, a maltipoo named Duke, and a morkie named Lexi) that she considers her children.     Whitney started at Banfield in September of 2019 but has been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2005! She moved from Blacksburg, Virginia as a young girl, and now lives here in North Carolina with her husband and 2 children. She has 2 dogs, Luna (American bulldog) and Slick Rick (American bulldog/pit bull/shih tzu/Chihuahua - true story) and 1 cat, Doug E. Fresh. At work, Whitney has found the perfect balance of humor and professionalism, and helps keep the team both laughing and focused.     Jennifer is originally from Pilot Mountain, NC and has been with Banfield since March 2016. Jennifer attended Western Carolina University and received a degree in English. Currently, she is taking courses to become a registered veterinary technician and is our first team member to become a Fear Free Certified Professional. Jennifer has three rescue dogs, a terrier named Raegan, a miniature poodle named Desi and mixed breed named June.     Arcena is currently getting cross trained as a veterinary assistant. Having a background in medical assisting, she would love to extend that to our pets. She has been with Banfield since October 2016 but is a lifetime pet parent. Arcena's love for animals began when she was a child and fondly remembers always being surrounded by dogs growing up. She graduated from NC State University and Brookstone College for Medicine. In her spare time, Arcena loves to read, write and blog, and even hosts a podcast where she reviews current and retro TV/movies!
