    Dr. Diana Ferradas (or as most of us here call her "Dr. D") is originally from Davie, Florida and has been a Floridian all of her life. She graduated from the Florida State University (Go Noles!) with her Bachelor's degree in Biology and then from the University of Florida with her DVM in 2020. Dr. Ferradas loves spending most of her time at work in the OR practicing soft tissue surgery or on the phone with clients talking about their fur kids! When she's not at work, Dr. Ferradas is with her partner Erik and their dog Jax exploring the Charlotte area. During her free time she likes to attend concerts, hike the beautiful North Carolina trails, play around with her sewing machine, attempt new sour dough recipes at home or be a couch potato and binge watch what's new on Netflix.     Kelly moved here from Pittsburgh, PA in 2005 and is a huge Steeler fan! She has been part of the Banfield family since 2006. Her family consists of her husband, 2 boys, and many animals! They live on a farm so there are lots of animals -- dogs, cats, a tortoise, chickens, turkeys, bunnies, goats, sheep, ducks, and a donkey. She has worked in veterinary medicine since 2005 and has filled many roles including receptionist, veterinary assistant, emergency overnight ICU care, and now a practice manager.     Madison moved from Trinity, NC to Gastonia upon acceptance into the veterinarian technician program at Gaston College. She has always loved animals, and her passion only increased when she started agriculture classes and became the treasure of the FFA in high school. Through many volunteer hours at the NC Wildlife Center, hometown local veterinarian offices, and being a farm hand for almost 4 years, Madison knew this would be her career path.     Anna started her career in a small one doctor practice in 1994 and fell in love with the field and has worked in general practice, emergency medicine and high volume spay and neuter. After working for a few years she chose to further her education and went to school to become a Registered Veterinary Technician through Gaston College's program. She graduated and has been an RVT for the last 20 years. Her favorite patients are geriatric dogs. Anna grew up in Charlotte but moved to Belmont in high school. Her love for animals began at an early age and she would bring home all sorts of animals from lizards, mice, birds and any puppy or kitten she could get her hands on. Anna has one daughter, who just started at Appalachian State University (Go Neers!). She shares her home with a schnauzer mix named Dyson, a Yorkie mix named Yeti, a Gecko named Echo, A Betta named Yosef and her heart cat Sake'.     As a Gastonia native, Ashley was raised in an outdoor environment from a young age and has always had an affinity for animals. Whether it be designing an aquatic-themed bulletin board in her fourth grade year to spread education about ocean life, or presenting an in-depth speech about animal cruelty during her junior year in high school, the passion for animal representation and quality care has always been a consistency in Ashley's life. After graduating from the Gaston College Vet Tech Program in 2019, Ashley emerged as an RVT with a background in urgent/emergency care, ready to tackle the day to day life of general practice. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, four cats, and one very mischievous chinchilla, not to mention, painting, hiking, reading, and playing video games.
