    Dr. Paige Baker

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Baker earned a bachelor's degree in zoology and chemistry from Miami University before attending and graduating from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After veterinary school, she moved to Charlotte with her husband. Dr. Baker has a passion for preventive care, dentistry, and geriatric medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Feline Practitioners, and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management. She lives in Mountain Island Lake with her husband, 2 cats, Ocho and Jay Bruce, and 2 children, Mikey and Henry. She is also an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan! More Details >>

    Derrick Turner

    Practice Manager

    Derrick has worked in the veterinary industry for over 6 years, all of them with Banfield. He started as a vet tech, but became a practice manager roughly 4 years ago. He enjoys the educational part of his job, speaking with clients about preventive care, dental health and parasite control, and making sure that each pet is completely taken care of. With his time away from work, Derrick spends time gardening, cooking and generally spending time with his wife, son, young daughter and 2 dogs. More Details >>

    Shift Lead

    Molly is a South Carolina native who has been in Cornelius for almost 5 years. She has always had a love for pets and happily made the transition from the business world into the veterinary field 3 years ago. Molly loves all pets (her very first was 'MC Hamster' at age 6), but has a special connection with cats. She has 3 of her own; Bon Bon, Joon and Hootie, a new addition to the family. When she isn't at work, Molly enjoys live music, Gamecock football and spending time with her dad and stepmom, who reside is South Charlotte.     Veterinary Assistant

    Kellie was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There she spent 12 years working at an emergency and specialty veterinary hospital. She found her love for animals at a very young age from growing up with dogs, cats, rabbits and horses. In 2015, Kellie joined the Banfield team where her love continues to grow for animals. Kellie and her husband, Nick, recently moved to North Carolina with their 2 dogs, Scarlet, a Labrador Retriever, and Gray, a German Shepherd. Kellie and Nick look forward to making Lake Norman their home. In her spare time, Kellie enjoys cooking, spending time with her husband, friends and family, as well as playing with their dogs.     Veterinary Assistant

    Jesse was born and raised in Upstate New York near Lake Champlain, and has lived in NC for 10 years. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from UNC in 2016 and plans on going back to pursue her master's degree in English. She has been married for 2 years, has 2 adopted cats, and 2 miniature dachshunds (she's our resident dachshund handler).     Veterinary Assistant

    Kalyn was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. She is currently in school to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. She has a 3-year-old German Shepherd puppy named Rebel, and a 4-year-old ragdoll kitty named Mojo. In her spare time, she likes to ride horses, workout at the gym, and do anything outdoors.     Client Service Coordinator

    Heather grew up in Salisbury, NC with an array of different animals, including a mixed breed dog named Pugsley, a flock of chickens, several cats, Flossy the bunny and Bart the parrot. She went to Western Carolina University to pursue her love for helping others by receiving a communications degree, as well as winning an award for her work with philanthropy within the community. She currently volunteers at the animal shelter in Cornelius. Her current love is Faye, her 1-year-old feline. She likes to cuddle up with her in her free time and watch Netflix. More Details >>
