Dr. Deanna Harris
Chief of Staff
Dr. Harris was born in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated from the Ohio State Veterinary School. She moved to Charlotte in 2009 to start her career with Banfield. She became a veterinarian due to her great love for science and animals. Dr. Harris comes from a very large family and she has a son who has an interest in practicing law. She also has a rat terrier, Sophie, who is very intelligent and easy to train. Dr. Harris loves to go to the movies, travel, bake, try new things, and spend time with family and friends. Dr. Harris sees dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, ferrets. She cannot see rabbits though because she is allergic!

Dr. Rachel Goodknight
Veterinarian
Dr. Goodknight is thrilled to join Banfield of Highland Creek! She has been part of the Banfield family since 2014 after being in private practice for four years. She hails from Vero Beach, Florida but attended veterinary school in Glasgow, Scotland. Dr. Goodknight has special interests in the care of aged pets, preventive medicine, and soft tissue surgery. When not caring for four-legged family members, she loves hiking in NC's beautiful nature spots, experiencing Charlotte's plethora of restaurants, and whipping up new culinary concoctions. She also enjoys giving back to the community by going to elementary schools to foster excitement for the veterinary profession. Dr. Goodknight's family includes her husband, their young son, and a mixed breed dog named Ori. Dr. Goodknight adores caring for her canine and feline patients and is beyond ecstatic that she will never again have to insert her arm into another cow.

Jenn Quigley
Practice Manager
Jenn is originally from Sumter, SC and relocated to the Charlotte area after undergrad. She received her bachelor's in theatre performance as well as her master's in arts administration at Winthrop University. Prior to Banfield, Jenn was the business manager for an emergency animal hospital for 9 years. She has been with Banfield for 3 years and couldn't be happier working for an organization that places so much emphasis on helping to keep pets healthy so that we can love them longer! Jenn shares a home with her fiancé and their three kitties, Chang, Kilmausky, and Nospurratu. She looks forward to meeting you and your pet!

Shift Lead
Meredith is originally from the Carolinas but recently moved back to Charlotte from NYC after living there three years. She is passionate about many things including her loved ones, helping others, the arts, traveling and all things outdoors. Her passion for animals goes back to childhood when she was always sneaking home strays. Meredith has a master's degree
in nonprofit management, and has been working in animal medicine and animal welfare for over a decade. She is proud to call Banfield home because of its
commitment to its associates, the community and most importantly, high-quality preventive medicine that helps keep our pets healthy and by our sides!

Veterinary Assistant
Eric has lived in Charlotte his entire life. He loves animals and having the opportunity to help them remain healthy inspired him to become a veterinary assistant. He has a 3-year-old cat, Max, aka The Bud, that he adopted from the Humane Society. Max loves to meow for food very loudly at 3am. Eric loves watching movies and TV, and going hiking whenever he can. He is also learning Japanese in the hopes of trying to live in Japan at some point.

Veterinary Assistant
Allie was born in California and moved to North Carolina when she was young. She lived in Wilmington while in school and moved to Charlotte after graduation. She loves pets and medicine, new challenges and learning new things. Allie has a 3 1/2 year old Basenji mix, Paisley, that she rescued, and enjoys playing soccer, guitar, hiking with Paisley, and photography.
