    Located in the heart of Cary, North Carolina, Banfield Pet Hospital provides compassionate and experienced veterinary care. We offer extensive preventive care, advanced surgery, and dentistry services for your pets. Our medical team provides care and expertise at a level you would demand for any family member.

    Please stop by anytime! You can find us in the Centrum at Crossroads shopping center off of Walnut Street, inside PetSmart. We also offer Optimum Wellness Plan® options for cats, kittens, dogs and puppies. Same day access appointments are available, as well as drop off appointments which allow you to go to work or run errands while we take care of your pets' medical needs.     Dr. Christina Hampton


    Dr. Christina Hampton is originally from upstate New York, but has also lived in Boise, ID, Salt Lake City, UT, and most recently the coastal city of Virginia Beach, VA. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Pullman, WA in 2009. Dr. Hampton, her husband, two young children and four rescue cats recently moved to the Triangle area for its beauty and family atmosphere; and also to support her husband's love of NC State athletics- Go Pack! She spends her time off at home with her family; she enjoys cooking, dangling things in front of her cats (Cadillac, Orange, Potter and Baby Buster) and watching football.     Dr. Lindsey Neafsey


    Dr. Lindsey Neafsey was born and raised in Hagerstown, MD. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Bridgewater College in Virginia and proceeded to veterinary school at the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. Dr. Neafsey started her career with Banfield shortly after graduating from veterinary school in 2013. She and her husband have a 2-year-old daughter, 3 dogs, 5 cats, and 3 guinea pigs.     Dr. Martha Casarez


    Dr. Casarez grew up in Laredo, Texas on the border to Mexico where she found a love for animals and the importance of pet education and serving the community. She received her undergraduate degree in biology and music from Texas A&M International University. She is a recent graduate of North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating veterinary school in May, Dr. Casarez joined Banfield in August 2018. Her veterinary interests include emergency and critical care patients. On her days off, Dr. Casarez enjoys spending time with her husband, Tony, and their 4-year-old son, Antonio, cooking/baking, indoor rock climbing and sleeping! More Details >>

    Dr. Rebecca Miller is originally from central Pennsylvania and received her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She worked in Illinois as a companion animal associate veterinarian for Banfield before relocating to North Carolina in 2019. Her passions in veterinary medicine include dentistry, nutrition, and behavior.     Practice Manager

    Chelsea started working for Banfield in 2015 as a pet care assistant and quickly worked her way up to practice manager while working at different locations in the Triangle area as well as Eastern North Carolina areas. She joined the Cary Walnut St location in March of 2019. She is completing her Bachelor of Science degree in business with a concentration in management from East Carolina University. She continues to hope to grow with the Mars family and foster positive environments for associates and pets.
