Laura McKernan
Shift Lead
Laura moved from Michigan to Asheville in 2010 and has been with Banfield of Asheville since 2012. Aside from giving lots of love to all of the adorable animals at work, she loves to spend time with her dogs, Tobi-Wan Kenobi and Lola Bear, doing as many outdoor activities as possible. Although Tobi-Wan is a wonderful camping partner, Lola is honestly the better hiker and social butterfly. Laura and her wife love Asheville for it's abundance of outdoorsy things. Hiking and kayaking are currently at the top of the list but outside of work, she and her wife run a growing Etsy shop that primarily sells handmade coasters. She is thankful for the opportunities Banfield has offered and excited to continue to grow with both Banfield and the Asheville community.
