    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Kathryn Sorensen is a 2012 graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined Banfield in 2014 working for a practice in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and recently moved to Bozeman, Montana with her husband, Nick, and their daughter, Claire. Her clinical interests include educating clients about preventive care, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery.     Dr. Kristyn Day

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Kristyn Day was born and raised in Florida, where her passion for animals began with family dogs and horseback riding lessons. She completed her undergraduate degree in animal biology at the University of Florida in 2009 and then spent 2 years riding for a horse ranch in Colorado. She then started her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland before transferring to Kansas State University. Dr. Day graduated in 2016 from KSU and began practicing at a Banfield in Utah. She moved with her husband for his schooling first to Idaho and then to Montana, and is thrilled to be working in Bozeman. Her interests outside of work include horseback riding, traveling, running, and college football. She lives with her wonderful husband, 3 horses, and dog in Whitehall, MT and loves to explore the area! More Details >>

    Dr. Laurel Nelson

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Laurel Nelson received her bachelor’s degree in applied physics from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. She then went on to receive her veterinary degree from the University of Glasgow in Glasgow, Scotland. Her veterinary interests include internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Nelson enjoys traveling the world, and has enthusiastically pursued opportunities to practice veterinary medicine in a variety of locals. This has included an internship with the Phuket Animal Welfare Society in Phuket, Thailand, as well as working with a veterinary team in the wildlife refuges of South Africa.     Dr. Randi Giddings

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Randi Giddings is a 5th generation Montana native who left the cattle ranch and moved to Bozeman in 2001. After 10 years of advanced education, Dr. Giddings has accumulated a B.A. degree in philosophy with a minor in history from Montana State University and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University with coursework at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Medicine in Edinburgh, Scotland, and has achieved additional certification in acupuncture (cVMA) and bovine artificial insemination. When not at work, Dr. Giddings enjoys chasing after her mini-farm (2 mini goats and a mini horse), planning a garden, working on her travel website, and listening to Jimmy Buffett. More Details >>

    Dr. Katherine Reese

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Katherine Reese is a graduate of Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has been in general practice for 23 years, including 10 years of emergency medicine and critical care. She also serves as an adjunct professor at WSU CVM enjoying her time as a facilitator for the Diagnostic Challenge program for second year veterinary students.
