Dr. Kristen Doss
Chief of Staff
Dr. Doss is a 2013 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. She is originally from St. Louis but grew up in Denver, and returned to St. Louis for college at St. Louis University before attending vet school. Her hobbies include traveling with her husband, spending time with her pit bull, Tulip, and shepherd mix, Rory, and watching the Cardinals and Blues.

Dr. Sarah Snyder
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Snyder grew up in St. Louis and earned her bachelor's degree in animal science from the University of Missouri in 2004. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri in 2009 and then completed a year-long small animal rotating internship at the Texas A&M Small Animal Hospital. After living in Texas for a year, Dr. Snyder knew she wanted to move back to the Midwest and joined the Banfield team in August 2010. She has worked in several Banfield hospitals in the St. Louis area before moving to the Town and Country location. Dr. Snyder is passionate about preventive dentistry and how it can lengthen the lives of pets. She has one dog, a border collie mix named Freckles, and enjoys supporting the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues, as well as the University of Missouri (Mizzou!) Tigers.

Dr. Andrea Bauer
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Andrea Bauer is a graduate of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and grew up in small town West Monroe, Louisiana. After graduating LSU, she moved to Las Vegas in 2014 and then to Missouri with her husband in 2015. She has three dogs at home including a handsome German shepherd named Maverick, a sweet Australian shepherd mix named Calli, and a mischievous Catahoula named Luna. In her spare time, Dr. Bauer enjoys fishing, reading, and spending time with her family.

Jessica Weiterman
Practice Manager
Jessica was born and raised in Saint Louis, MO before moving to Columbia, MO to attend the University of Missouri. She moved back to Saint Louis to be closer to her family and began working at Banfield Pet Hospital in 2013. She is excited to provide high quality of care to each and every patient as practice manager at Town and Country. She has one rescue Guinea pig named Rue, but hopes to fill her home with many more rescues in the years to come!

Angela Maher
Shift Lead
Angela grew up in St. Louis where she attended the Vet Tech Institute, graduating in 2015. She joined the Banfield team shortly after but has been working with animals since the young age of 15. Her family currently consists of 2 rescued Great Danes, Moose and Thor. Angela chose to work for Banfield because of their high quality of medicine and the outstanding preventive care. She enjoys cooking in her spare time and spending time with her family.

Nathan Hasenstein, RVT
Veterinary Technician
Nathan has been working for Banfield Pet Hospital since 2005. He graduated with honors from Sanford-Brown College with his associate's in veterinary technology in June of 2010 and has been a licensed as a veterinary technician since February of 2011. Nathan currently has a cat and a pit bull. He is a woodworker and an amateur photographer who goes hiking/camping when available.

Veterinary Technician
Joanne is a St. Louis native and earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri in 2010. She worked in advertising and sales for several years while volunteering for the Humane Society. Joanne realized she wanted to pursue her true passion for helping animals, so she went back to school and graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in 2018. Shortly after, she joined the Banfield team and has never felt so at home. In her spare time, Joanne enjoys traveling, live music, and Netflix marathons with her miniature Dachshund, Jimi.

Ashlee moved to St. Louis in July 2014, where she went to Midwest Institute in Fenton, MO to get her associate's degree in veterinary medicine. She has been working as a Veterinary Assistant for 2 years, and has a cat named Laverne, who is her whole world. When Ashlee is not working, she can be found at home playing and cuddling with Laverne.

Sammi graduated from The Vet Tech Institute at Hickey College in 2015. She loves her pit bull, Luna, and her 3 playful cats, George, Mittens, and Troy. Outside of work, you can find Sammi doing any kind of craft, reading her books, or sitting on her couch with her husband watching documentaries. Sammi has worked for Banfield since 2017 and her favorite part of her job is getting to meet new clients (so please say hi!), and loving on all of the wonderful animals she meets everyday.

Veterinary Assistant
Michael joined Banfield Pet Hospital in July of 2016 as a veterinary assistant. He started making a difference in pets' lives at our Wentzville location, but transferred to our team in December of 2018. Michael is an avid science fiction reader and enjoys playing video games during his down time. He also loves getting drooled on by his basset hound, Ellie, and his boxer, Ellie.

Client Service Coordinator
Nicole knew by the age of 5 that she wanted to work with animals. She started volunteering at an animal hospital when she was 14, and knew this was her passion – to work with pets and their owners! Nicole has now been in the veterinary field for 17 years, and has experience with emergency/specialty care, and some exotics and wildlife. Nicole has been with Banfield since 2008. She loves that she can help educate pet parents so they may have long, happy, and healthy relationships with their pets.

Drake Mahoney
Client Service Coordinator
Drake was born and raised in small town Burlington, Kansas and attended Emporia State University. While at ESU, he studied health promotion and was the student coach for the women's volleyball team. Drake does not have any pets for himself (yet), but he still enjoys creating a positive, stress free experience for the clients and pets every time they come in. Drake has always been an avid animal lover, and is so excited to be a part of the Town & Country team. Although he's not in Kansas anymore, he still thinks "there's no place like home" when he's at Banfield.
