    Dr. Amber Alesse is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated veterinary school from the University of Tennesee in 2011. After this, she worked in a general practice outside of Nashville for a year and a half. Then moved back home to Pittsburgh to be closer to family. She worked here doing overnight ER, where she gained invaluable experience, and also in a general practice setting. Dr. Alesse has recently moved to Missouri to be close to her fiance and his 2 little girls. Her professional interests include preventive care, dermatology, and oncology.     Dr. Nancy Wolfe Bay is a native of St. Louis, MO. She graduated veterinary school from the University of Missouri Columbia and has worked at various clinics around the St. Louis area. Prior to joining the Banfield team, she was director for a veterinary technician program at a local college. Dr. Wolfe is enjoying being back in private practice and helping pets and their owners.     Veterinarian

    Dr. Melanie Santiago graduated from the University of Missouri College Of Veterinary Medicine in 2011, and has strong interests in geriatric feline medicine and surgery. Following graduation, she worked as an associate veterinarian at the Cat Hospital of Orlando and the St. Louis Cat Clinic. She also worked as an emergency veterinarian at the AEC in Collinsville, IL. Raised in Puerto Rico, she is fully bilingual (fluent in both English and Spanish). In addition to her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, she holds a B.S. degree in biology from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez. Dr. Santiago shares her home with her husband, son and their pets: three beautiful brown tabby cats named Scribbles, Leia and Pyro; Lady the pitbull and Moe the beagle. More Details >>

    Dr. Alexis Strode graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007, and practiced in a suburb of Kansas City for 3 years before moving back to the St. Louis area. She has been with Banfield since 2016 and is currently completing her certification in canine rehabilitation. Her areas of interest include canine rehabilitation, pain management, and preventive care.
