Dr. Heather Mix
Veterinarian
Dr. Heather Mix completed her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Minnesota School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She had worked as a veterinary technician and assistant for many years before and throughout veterinary school. Her special interests include internal medicine, cardiology, and radiology. She has a Lhasa-poo named Taz, or Tasmanian devil when he is in trouble. She also has a sweet and goofy mixed breed dog named Gordy. Dr. Mix comes from a large family of seven children, of which she is the youngest. Her favorite hobbies include singing, arts and crafts, and spending time her husband, Dustin, her family and friends. She also loves to travel up north to her hometown, Brainerd, to enjoy the lakes and nature.

Dr. Kaci Wulfekuhle
Veterinarian
Dr. Kaci Wulfekuhle received her undergraduate degree in animal science at Iowa State University before completing her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University in 2016. She brings a cheerful, upbeat attitude to all of her exams. Her clinical interests include dentistry, dermatology, companion exotics, and preventive medicine. Her three pets include a sassy Pembroke Corgi named Neeko, a sociable cat named Miles, and a sweet and super smart miniature Australian Shepherd puppy named Jackson. In her free time, Dr. Wulfekuhle loves to garden, explore new parks, camp, and go paddle boarding around the many lakes in the area.

Dr. Ildiko Therneau
Veterinarian
Dr. Therneau has been a part of the Banfield team since 2006. She graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 with a focus on small animal medicine. She enjoys internal medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and using preventive medicine to keep pets healthy. She enjoys partnering with families to provide the best care for their unique situations, and educating clients to help them make the best decisions for their pets. When not working, she loves spending time with her husband, two daughters, two dogs, Jackson and Omar, and two kitties, Kittywhompus and Cricket. Her hobbies include gardening, reading, sharing food with friends, cheering on the Timbers, and exploring the outdoors with friends and family.

Dr. Ashley Anderson
Veterinarian
Dr. Anderson graduated from Iowa State University in May 2017 with a focus on mixed animal practice, particularly equine practice. She completed an equine internship in Texas at a very busy equine referral hospital and surgical center. She joined Banfield in July of 2018 when she moved home to Minnesota. She enjoys surgery, lameness, dentistry and providing preventive care to healthy patients. Dr. Anderson's hobbies include spending time with her fiancé, 2 dogs, cat, 2 horses and miniature donkey. She enjoys barrel racing, breakaway roping and rodeo.

Becky Padhy, CVT
Veterinary Technician
Becky is a 2014 honors graduate from the Minnesota School of Business with a degree in veterinary science. She has been with the Coon Rapids Banfield since September 2014, and loves working with all pets including exotics. She is passionate about preventive care, especially year round heartworm prevention in cats and dogs. When not working, Becky loves spending time with her husband, kids, and pets. She and her family enjoy barbecuing, camping, Valleyfair, and traveling around the world. She is also an avid Detroit Tigers fan and has a passion for photography and snowboarding.

Veterinary Technician
Heather loves working at the Coon Rapids Banfield! She graduated from the Medical Institute of Minnesota in 2001, and has a broad knowledge of many species including, cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and most large animals. She especially enjoys working with cats! Heather currently resides in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis with her two children, two cats, dog and snake. Nature, music and cooking are her passions outside of work.

Kelsey Warren, CVT
Veterinary Technician
Kelsey graduated from North Dakota State University in 2014 with a B.S. degree in veterinary technology and minors in animal science and large animal veterinary technology. She has been with Banfield ever since. She doesn't have any pets yet, but does consider her family dog, Daisy, to be her own. Her favorite parts of her job as a CVT consist of the satisfaction of cleaning teeth on patients and educating clients on how to better care for their pets. Kelsey believes there is a lot of misinformation out there and wants clients to feel comfortable talking to their veterinary professionals about their pets healthcare and well-being. She looks forward to seeing you and your pets for the best care she can possibly give.

Veterinary Technician
Dee received her veterinary technology certification from the Medical Institute of Minnesota. She has two children, Faye and Griffon, and hosts a menagerie of pets including Chihuahuas, cats, rabbits and a turtle. She enjoys showing her rabbits, watching Twins games, and quilting.

Sam received her associate's degree in veterinary technology from the Minnesota School of Business and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in animal science at the University of Wisconsin River Falls. She has a cocker spaniel named Willie, and her hobbies include reading and attending country music festivals.
