    Dr. Rachel Barnes


    Dr. Barnes joined Banfield in January 2017. She comes from a military family and has lived many places, domestically and internationally, but likes to call the Midwest home. After completing her undergraduate degree at Luther College in Decorah, IA and working for a few years in the Twin Cities, Dr. Barnes and her husband moved to London to attend the Royal Veterinary College where she earned her degree in veterinary medicine. After vet school, Dr. Barnes spent 2 years working at a mixed animal practice in northwest Iowa before returning to the Twin Cities with her husband, son, and 2 cats in tow. Dr. Barnes is passionate about feline medicine and is an active member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Her goal as a veterinarian is to give clients a personalized experience and to build lasting relationships with clients and their pets. More Details >>

    Dr. Nancy Stieber


    Dr. Nancy Stieber grew up in Des Moines, Iowa and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa where she majored in biology. She then attended veterinary school at the University of Minnesota, completing her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Her veterinary interests include small animal dermatology, internal medicine, dentistry, and preventive care. Dr. Stieber, along with her husband, stay busy raising their two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her geriatric Pomeranian named Maggie and two cats, Pumkin and Spice. In her limited spare time, she enjoys yoga, reading, and travel. More Details >>
