Dr. Erik Corbett
Chief of Staff
Dr. Erik Corbett joined Banfield as the Chief of Staff in Livonia in late 2018. A 2006 graduate of Michigan State University, he also has a M.S. degree in large animal clinical sciences focusing on epidemiology. Dr. Corbett has worked as an associate veterinarian in general practice as well as emergency and critical care practice. He owned his own practice with his wife until they decided to focus on their family. He strives to provide quality care and is always looking to improve as a doctor. He has a strong interest preventive care, internal medicine, surgery, and senior pet care/pain management. He decided to join Banfield because of their focus on preventive care for your pets. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Corbett enjoys spending time with his wife, Jenna, their infant son, Connor, and their three dogs and cat.

Luke Murphy
Practice Manager
Ever since his first job in high school, Luke has worked in the veterinary field and a passion for helping pets in need. He worked in shelter medicine and high volume spay, neuter, and wellness services for the last 16 years. When not working with pets, Luke spends time with his wife and kids, and enjoys riding his bike.

Natasha Smalley, LVT
Shift Lead
Natasha has been with Banfield since March 2016. She is a licensed veterinary technician and has her associate's degree in applied science for veterinary technology from Purdue University as well as a bachelor's degree in animal science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. When not working, she loves to read, cook, bake and run. One day she would like to move up and become practice manager or possibly go back to school to become a veterinarian. She currently does not have any pets as she recently lost her Labrador retriever to cancer. She has also had a pet cow, she misses them dearly and will cherish every day that she had with them. With this, Natasha enjoys spreading that same love and emotion to clients and their pets, along with educating them with her profound knowledge.

Veterinary Assistant
Krystal is a graduate from Ross Medical School and believes in being the voice for our beloved pets who don't have one. She is compassionate about treating each and every animal like her own. Since she loves her job so much, coming to work is not a job but a joy. She lives with her one bearded dragon, two cats and a dog. Krystal looks forward to treating your pets as they will be in good hands.
