    Dr. Tarron Herring

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Herring is from New York. He joined Banfield in 2006 and acquired his chief of staff certification in 2009. Dr. Herring attended Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine and has been a veterinarian for over 10 years. He lives in Anne Arundel county with his wife and 3 daughters, and enjoys giving back to the community and competing as a natural body builder during his down time. Every year, Dr. Herring and his family raise toys during Christmas for children in the children’s hospital. Dr. Herring is currently seeking ABVP board certification for canine and feline medicine.     Dr. Emily Fitzgibbons

    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Fitzgibbons joined Banfield in 2009 and has been part of the Arundel Mills team since 2010. She completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 2008, then completed a one year surgical/medicine equine internship at a referral hospital in upstate New York. She lives in the Baltimore area along with her husband of 5 years and their two children, and Siamese mix cat named Pi. Dr. Fitzgibbons enjoys all aspect of small animal general practice, but is especially interested in lameness, internal medicine, and preventive care. She loves the challenges of general practice, working with owners to help improve their pets lives.     Dr. Gerváis Edmonds-Wiggins

    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Wiggins joined this location in September 2015. She was inspired to become a veterinarian after growing up watching National Geographic, Animal Planet and other shows that encouraged her to find a way to help animals. She attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in general agriculture in 2006 and a Master of Science degree in food and agricultural sciences in 2008. Following graduate school, Dr. Wiggins received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Her professional interests include client education, preventive care and surgery. Dr. Wiggins is married to her high school sweetheart, and they have a year and a half year old son, as well as two dogs; an 8-year-old lab mix named Remy and a 7-year-old border collie mix named Sage. She is also a car enthusiast that enjoys cooking, skiing, learning, movies, and most of all, spending time with her family. More Details >>

    Dr. Veronica Talbert


    Dr. Talbert is a graduate of LSU-SVM, class of 2008. She has lived in Maryland since 2011 and started working for Banfield in 2012. She has a background in emergency and critical care medicine.     Dr. Paul Prestia


    Dr. Paul Prestia, a native of Severna Park, has been with Banfield since October 2015 and joined the Arundel Mills team in March 2016. Prior to working for Banfield, she worked at private practices in the Annapolis area, Richmond, VA and Lewes, DE. She received her B.A. degree in mass communications and history from the University of Virginia and her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to veterinary school, she worked on clinical trials and the Waterman Study at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Wilmer Eye Institute and on clinical trials at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Department of Ophthalmology. Her primary interests in veterinary medicine are ophthalmology and internal medicine. Dr. Prestia lives in Arnold with her beagle, Peyton, and 4 cats.     Sara Buchanan

    Practice Manager

    Sara joined Banfield in 2011 as a Client Service Coordinator and became Practice Manager at the Arundel Mills location in 2013. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Towson University in 2009. Her career interests include client education, associate engagement, and working with brachycephalic breeds.
