Dr. Katie Pagan
Veterinarian
Dr. Katie Pagan received her undergraduate degree in biology from Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ. She completed her clinical training at Louisiana State University and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 2017. She lives in Bel Air, MD with her husband and their two Chihuahuas, Peanut and Pebbles. Her special interests include surgery and dermatology. Dr. Pagan enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants, and Yankees baseball.

Dr. Lauren Pratt
Veterinarian
Dr. Pratt was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She grew up dancing at Towson University with the Children’s Dance Division and performed in the Nutcracker with the Moscow Ballet at the Hippodrome Theatre for 5 consecutive years. She went to the University of Tampa for her undergraduate degree and in 2012, graduated with her major in biology and minor in chemistry. She started volunteering with a local veterinarian at a general practice in Tampa during her senior year. In 2013, she was accepted to veterinary school at the University of Illinois in which during her summer and holiday breaks, she worked at an emergency clinic in Catonsville, Maryland. In May of 2017, she graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. In July of 2017, she moved back to Baltimore and started at the Banfield White Marsh location. She recently accepted the opportunity to join the Bel Air Banfield family and could not be more excited.

Dr. Ann Schiavetta-Wells
Veterinarian
Dr. Schiavetta-Wells earned her veterinary degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and her advanced degrees from Texas A&M University and the US Army’s veterinary residency program. She is an Army veteran with many years of service, 20 of those as a veterinarian. Dr. Wells has lived in (and loved) Harford County for over 15 years and is thrilled to work and raise her children here! She has lived with very large dogs all her life but hopes to add a sweet little one (or two…) to her family in the future. Dr. Wells proudly supports Maryland greyhound rescue organizations. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing with her husband and children, cycling, hiking, and playing tennis with her wonderful Harford County friends.

Angela Manion
Practice Manager
Angela started at Banfield in 2003 as a client service coordinator and then moved into being a veterinary assistant and now, practice manager since 2014. She genuinely appreciates her team in Bel Air and thinks of them as family. Angela is married and a Vilomah, and has 2 dogs, Rocket (a border collie mix) and Finnick (a red nose pit bull terrier), and an orange tabby cat named O'Mailey. She is an advocate and active supporter for the Living Legacy and Donate Life here in Maryland. In her free time, she spends time with her family and friends cooking, hiking and traveling.

Ashley Thomas
Shift Lead
Ashley started at Banfield in May 2013 as a client service coordinator, then became a veterinary assistant, promoted to shift lead in 2016, and now an RVT as well. She has 3 dogs, Addie, Bella, and Bear; 2 cats, Noah and Dempsey; and a turtle named Squirt. Ashley completed the RVT program through Penn Foster. In her free time, she likes to travel to other countries and try new foods.

Matt Hill, RVT
Veterinary Technician
Matt began working with Banfield in 2013 as a veterinary assistant and became a registered veterinary technician in 2016. As an RVT, he loves being able to put his knowledge and skills to work monitoring surgical procedures, performing dental cleanings, and helping pets stay healthy with technician appointments. He feels the best part about his job is being able to use his passion for helping animals everyday. He has a corgi named Carrots and three cats, Hobbes, Dexter, and Willie. He has a real interest in helping special needs animals, and has adopted and raised multiple pets with varying special needs.

Patty Groves, RVT
Veterinary Technician
Patty started volunteering at Banfield in 2008 after the death of her first dog, Jake, and was then hired as a veterinary assistant in 2009. She found a love of caring for animals which inspired her to return to college at CCBC to become a registered veterinary technician. She graduated and passed the National Veterinary Technician Exam in 2011, and then started her career as a RVT at Banfield. She has 2 very spoiled dogs, Scarlett (a mini Schnauzer) and Lucy (a golden/border collie Mix). Patty has a passion for learning and mentoring new associates. In her spare time, she loves making quilts for her family and friends, reading, and playing with her "adopted" grandson, Wyatt.
