Dr. Pamela Regante
Veterinarian
Dr. Regante is originally from New Jersey but fell in love with Massachusetts earlier in life. Prior to veterinary school, she lived in Boston for 5 years and decided to return after graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has been with Banfield since 2013, primarily in Framingham but has worked at several other Banfield’s in the area. Her professional interests include feline medicine, pathology, and radiology. She has 3 cats of her own, Chloe, Dexter, and Schmoodles, and a Sato dog named Pepperoni who loves to torture her cats. Dr. Regante is an avid reader, enjoys spending time outdoors (kayaking, hiking, gardening), and loves to travel whenever possible.

Dr. Shantell Hassey
Veterinarian
Dr. Hassey is originally from southeastern Massashusetts, and received her bachelor degrees in biology and psychology and a minor chemistry from Regis College in Weston, MA. She went on to get her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University graduating in 2012. Dr. Hassey performed her clinical year at Cornell University and after graduation, she returned to Boston and started working at Banfield in Framingham in 2013. Her professional interests include internal medicine, radiology and cardiology. She has a cocker spaniel named Reese and a Balinese cat named Blue Collar. When not working, Dr. Hassey enjoys spending time outdoors and with her 3-year-old daughter and boyfriend at her house in Connecticut.

Dr. Delerys Rullan Cardec
Veterinarian
Dr.Delerys Rullán-Cardec originally grew up in Puerto Rico. She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez with a bachelor’s degree in animal science. She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine graduating in 2019. She performed her clinical year at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine where she fell in love with Massachusetts. Dr.Rullán-Cardec joined Banfield at Framingham in 2019 and has interest in general surgery, internal medicine and preventive care. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, baking and cooking.

Dr. Kara Kayala
Veterinarian
Dr. Kayala graduated in 2016 from Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to veterinary school, she completed her B.S. degree in biochemistry from Northeastern University and then traveled to the west coast to complete her Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine. Her dissertation research focused on the functions of the Alzheimer's-related protein presenilin. During veterinary school and since starting her career in veterinary medicine, Dr. Kayala has developed interests in preventive care, dermatology and internal medicine. In her time away from the hospital, she enjoys relaxing with her husband, young sons, and two cats, Buttercup and Hops.

Marcy has been with the company since 2014, and thoroughly enjoys working with her team and appreciates the rewards of caring for pets and their owners. An avid pet lover, Marcy’s furry and feathered flock consists of 4 dogs, 2 indoor cats, 7 horses, a donkey, and a flock of chickens and ducks. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, volunteering and reading.

CVT/Shift Lead
Sofia Perez, CVT is originally from Worcester, MA. Graduated from Becker College in 2015 and has been with Banfield for 5 years. She started out as a VA in the Northborough location, and shortly after got her CVT license. She is now working in the Framingham location as a shift lead. She enjoys playing softball and football, and watching her 2 sons play soccer. She has 2 dogs Victoria and Prescott, and a cat, Darth Zachary Binx.
