    This Banfield Pet Hospital® is your partner in quality pet care. We are a full-service hospital that provides thorough physical exams and lab work-ups, dental cleanings, X-rays and surgery, and are committed to the long-term health and happiness of your pet. 

    Our team specializes in advanced dentistry for a variety of pet dental health concerns that range from mouth pain, cavities and gum infections, to broken teeth, extractions and dental cysts. 

    This hospital was previously Lansdowne Veterinary Clinic & Dental Center, which started in 1971. Dr. Stephen Pinkston, who joined the practice in 1983, has advanced training in dentistry, which allows him to do crowns, root canals, fillings and orthodontics. Dr. Kim Hill came on board in 2001 and is board certified in acupuncture. Dr. Keri Wynn completed our team of veterinarians in 2015.

    Dr. Stephen Pinkston


    Dr. Pinkston graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1980. After practicing in Western Kentucky, he joined the Lansdowne practice in 1983. He has had advanced training in dentistry, allowing him to do crowns, root canals, fillings and orthodontics. He has been a member of the American Veterinary Dental Society since 1991. Dr. Pinkston is married and has two grown children. The rest of the household is composed of two miniature dachshunds, Sam and Trey, and two Labrador retrievers, Dixie and Bay. He is the very proud grandfather of five girls, Mary Beth, Anna Leigh, Virginia and Sarah Kate, as well as four grandsons, John Douglas, Stephen, Thomas and Levi (Stephen and Thomas are named for Dr. Pinkston!).     Dr. Kimberly Hill


    Dr. Hill is a native of Lexington. She is a graduate of Lafayette High School, where she was a member of the Lafayette band color guard. She then attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where she completed her undergraduate degree in zoology. Dr. Hill graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2001. She became certified in small animal acupuncture in 2010 and is a member of the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture. She joined Lansdowne Veterinary Clinic in June 2001. She is married with three sons, Logan, Parker and Reed, and she has two Boston terriers, Beckham and Posh, and two cats, Camille and Fernando. More Details >>

    Chris Keller, CVPM

    Practice Manager

    Chris came to the Lansdowne Veterinary Clinic in the Spring of 1999. Before working at LVC, she was a nurse at the AA Small Animal Emergency Service. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky in animal science and loves both the nursing and management aspects of her job. She is also the first CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager) in the state of Kentucky. She shares her home with her wonderful husband, Mike, and their two sons, Noah and Landon. They also share their home with a cat named Mouse, a rat terrier mix named Lexi, and Otis, their Great Dane. More Details >>

    Hillary came to the Lansdowne Veterinary Clinic in 2004 and received her diploma in animal science in 2005. She shares her home with husband, Brian, beautiful daughters, Maria and Gabriella, and cats, Isabelle and Desperado. More Details >>

    Originally from Corbin, Stephanie came to Lexington in 2007. She received an associate's degree in applied science and joined our staff in 2015. Stephanie is engaged to Lucas and has three children, Analeshia, Katarina and Keaton. She also shares her home with Skyla, a boxer mix, and Sebastian, a rottweiler puppy.     Veterinary Assistant

    Emily graduated with an animal science degree from the University of Kentucky and joined our team in November 2014. Her hometown is Lexington, but she lived in Franklin, TN until she returned to Lexington to attend college. When not at the clinic or in class, she loves playing with her puppy, Rupp, and spending time with family and friends. Emily plans to attend the University of Tennessee for veterinary school.     Morgan was born in Kentucky but grew up in Georgia, returning to Lexington to attend the University of Kentucky where she is an animal science/pre-vet major. At home, she has a rabbit named Oliver, four cats named Rosie, Oreo, Lilah and Milo, and a dog named Kadie. She recently adopted her very own dog, Baxter.     Sami joined our team in 2016. She is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and moved down to Lexington to attend the University of Kentucky.
